Chapter 26- A Kiss that Never Happened

A week later

Wedding bells rang through out screaming at me  saying what you're doing is going land into the ditch. But once you decide to fall in to the fire there's no way you're ever gonna leave without the burnt makes.

The makeup artist had done tinting my lips to a shade of dark red.

Masking my sadness.

I was now going to marry a person who I'd never wanted to marry. I knew he didn't want to marry me either all this was done for a stupid deal. 

A deal meant to kept a tight secret among the highly people of the society.

I got up from my reserved place grabbing the bouquet  of flowers 'ranunculus red' a beautiful flower it's so identical to rose but not a rose.

Almost as a mockery to love 

I walked to doors leading to the isle, I looked at the grand doors. I stayed there for a moment or two, I traced my finger brushing the doorknob. I stood waiting for my father to hold my hand.

The same hand he held long back with his finger wrapped around my pinkie and today he's going to give my hand to my husband.

The world's so selfish, a father who takes so much care of his daughter, working 12 hour jobs managing the house and the family only to see this day that his daughter is going belong to another man for her lifetime.

I smiled looking at my dad.

We walked together towards the priest.

I stood their next to Jimin when my father kept my hands in his. I looked towards Jimin to see him smirking.

"It's time for the vows"

Jimin started  "I, Park Jimin, take thee, Jeon Y/N, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge myself to you."

I did my part as well  "I, Jeon Y/N, take thee, Park Jimin , to be my wedded husband to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge myself to you."

"Please exchange the wedding rings"

I wore Jimin the ring given to me

I saw Jimin doing the same but he came forward slightly whispering in my ears "If you loose this ring, I am gonna to kill you"

What's so important about the ring, It looks like a normal ring.

I sighed 

"You may now kiss the bride, let's seal the promise with a kiss"

I heard the priest say

I closed my eyes waiting for his lips to fall  upon mine but it never did. 

"Do you think that I would kiss you for real"

"Then at the pa.."

"That was just a to impress my dad"

"You Jerk"

He turned his head towards the other side 

Now I get why my dad wanted me to marry this Jerk, it was because he kissed  at the party and Jeons being influential will definitely come to know about this and hence my dad forced me to marry him.

The wedding was now over, but the worst was yet to come.
