I want to make some clarifying notes before diving into this
Yes, this was two whole Acts. That means it would have taken a VERY long time to write this story, which is just not time I have for something like this
Second, there are some things to keep in mind that I had been trying to rework but never completed entirely. Such things are:
-I renamed a few characters, so sorry if I misspell anything. I tried my best to look through and fix it
-This was written before Jon and Robyn broke up, so I had them have a whole arc together. However, this was one of the things I tried to rework and instead focus on a friendship between Nick and Jon. You can ship them I guess but that was never my intention
-There are also several things that don't make a whole lot of sense such as with timing, but that's alright. Some plot points are even incomplete because when I was reworking everything, I wanted to add more to some events
-There are references to my old characters that don't make sense, such as with Mr. Thompson. I hate him in this story because he does nothing but bully students. Please forgive me

And if you don't ever end up reading this or listening to any of the songs, that's alright. It's just that it is long and took me a whole lot of time to plan out that it's be a waste if it sat in my notes for so long without anyone apart from me to read it

So here are Brutally Honest's ACT I notes. I will put the song list at the end and same with ACT II
Feel free to leave comments. Those are my favorite

I'm sorry for this

Plot points
ACT I

High school is usually, while still a pain, pretty normal for most people. Some of us just want to get by with our earphones shoved into our ears and our favorite song blaring. Some of us want to make the most of our time here, making new friends and meeting new people and taking opportunities. Some of us want to achieve honor roll or become popular or be donned with the crown of a prom queen. So, yeah, overall, high school can be pretty calm despite its rough patches and bumpy roads. Normal. What even is that word? A word that describes every high school experience, I guess.

But you wouldn't  be here if that were the case, now, would you?

Don:
Emo kid that hates everyone and everything
- singing is ehhhhh, but eventually learns he can rap like hell
(plays baseball out of school)

Richard:
Crazy ex boyfriend

Dashlie:
Sad shadow of her popular best friend and suffering from identity and bulimia

Duni:
Popular cheerful gay theater kid that nearly everyone likes but he can be pretty annoying sometimes
- moved here a year ago(Junior year).
- An acne-scarred face and a winning smile

DDawn:
Cold, calculated nerd who is unapproachable and obviously striving for success, but deep down he does feel very lonely even though he doesn't realize that that is what makes him so sad all the time

Jon:
Cheerful theater kid that always looks on the bright side of things and is always looking to brighten someone's day. He often gets picked on since he isn't the brightest, and he easily gets embarrassed or filled with shame when even his friends make fun of him even if they are joking around. In short terms, he is insecure

Nick:
Average teen wanting to just have fun and make jokes and be the nerdy dorky dude he is.

Ashlie:
Normal teen trying to live out high school and make the most of all the tests and opportunities and friends she makes along the way. Doesn't know what she'll be when she grows up

Uni:
Art kid striving to make a name for himself despite his parents being disappointed in him for being a boy interested in art instead of wanting to be a lawyer or a Doctor because of his high intelligence and obvious qualifications to be in the STEM program. Dude just wants to draw the rest of his life
