Following the previous days event, our dear main characters found themselves in bed with a lazy butler sitting by the sofa reading.

( Lukas POV)

" I can't do this."

Placing the books that were on my head down on the chair as I lay in a heap on the bed.

" You do know that this is what you have to learn to prevent from being found out." said Kevin exasperatedly.  Even he was a little exhausted from amount of training that had to be played out. " However I supposed we could take a break for a little while."

Listening to that particular sentence I grinned. Not caring for my appearance I already ran off letting the wind to carry whatever Kevin was shouting at me away.

( Some time later)

I was exploring the Palace during the break. I had never bothered at looking at the details until now since I never thought that I would survive this long but frankly I was amazed. Fans of the novel had drew their own ideas on what the place looked like but there wasn't anything as close as the ones that stood before me.

The marble that decorated both the walls and floor would glitter like jewels everytime the sun hit, the ceiling painted to resemble the sky felt so real, Magic could be seen in various parts of the room but I'm not going to elaborate cause the next thing I knew I was lost.

where the heck am i?

Looking around, I think I was in a garden. Flowers of all types surrounded me, it was quite tranquil.

" If it isn't Princess Eira."

I turn around to meet a pair of steely grey eyes, ones I vaguely remembered. The person before me was a young woman- a little older than me,  with long black hair that was tied in a bun, fair skin, grey eyes and there I admit, a considerable bust.

This very person was if I'm not wrong, Princess Demetria. A character that would often bully the heroine in the story.  She was a schemer, a trait that was also present in her mother, concubine Dene.

Putting a bunch of fakeness, I curtsy in reply.

" Good Afternoon, Princess Demetria. Pleasant day isn't it."  I said ' sweetly', I should at least play nice since Kevin's not here to save me.

A small crowd had gathered in the area, most of which were her supporters.

" Oh yes. Almost forgot. I prepared a present for you." she said, her smile like a fox.

Present? ya right, I better be careful.

She turned behind and a maid presented a small wooden box. Handing the box to me, I took it. Slowly, I opened it however the present that was given was a total surprise.

'AAAAAHHHH!"

The 'present' was a white snake. One that I did not recognize, it shot up so fast that the several of the maids had collapsed on the floor. Calmly, I hold it up, dropping the box onto the ground. Examining the snake carefully.

The sight of a princess carrying a snake was shocking indeed and the expression on Demetria's face was one I would pay to see.

" wow, this is real." I say, placing a curious act. " Why aren't you scared?" asked Demetria shakily as the other girls moved backed a little.

I looked at her, " why would I be scared of a harmless snake?" Walking towards, " are you scared of snakes?" I asked as I  extend the snake towards her.

" That...why would I be afraid of a snake?"

" That being the case, then please do take this small snake, I'm gonna prepare food for it."

silence. 3 seconds of beautiful silence.

" DON'T HAND IT OVER HERE, HELP!!"

Screaming her head off, the pain in the neck ran away.

I sighed, placing the snake down on the grass. When suddenly I heard Laughing,

" HAHAHAHA! Oh my god, that was hilarious."

I turn around to notice a tall handsome man with dark blonde hair and pink eyes, he was wearing in what was the royal knight uniform.

" Hey little sis, how are things going." He said as he walked over.

That man was the crown prince, Julius. He was the first son if I'm not wrong and carried a lot of responsibilities. Unlike the rest of the royals, he was down to earth and kind, a great king to be. He and his mother were supportive of the heroine and to tell the truth he was the only person who treated the William and Eira of the novel with kindness.

" Your highness, what are you doing here?" I say as I curtsied. The actions he gave me was totally surprising, " what's with the honorific. Just call me big brother." he says as he ruffles my hair.

" Big brother...."

" There you go! By the way, the stunt you pulled just now was wonderful!"

I rolled my eyes, seriously wonderful?

" Ya but I'll definitely get in trouble." I say before biting my tongue. I can't believe I let it slip.

" woah when did you start speaking so casually." Just when I thought I was going to get reprimanded, he smiled?

" Its refreshing."

Huh?

I found myself chatting happily with him, he was a great source of relief, no wonder the william in the novel never hurt him even once.  The next thing we knew, it was already sundown.

" See ya, little sis! Come over to my place some time, alright!"

Waving back, I smile. The way he acted it felt so nice, so sibling like. As tears threatened to rolled down my cheek, I quickly wiped them away.

Hurrying back to my palace, I was only greeted with a angered Kevin.

" WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!"
