POV: Grian

"DOC?! DOC ANSWER ME!"

I held my breath when there was no response, as I rushed to find a healing potion. I rummaged through shulker boxes, moving as fast as I could before I found one, running out of my hobbit hole. I grabbed my rockets and flew as fast as I could, rushing to find Doc. I flew over Iskall's tree, diving down and landing in the center. I stumbled a bit when I saw Doc's limp body that had been pooling out blood. I ran over, splashing the potion onto Doc. His large gash began sealing up, the potion doing its magic. I held the unconscious creeper in my arms, watching as his chest rose and dropped, each time slower than the last. I heard footsteps behind me, and I turned to see Iskall, who was literal red handed.

"Grian, I-"
"Save it. Get Xisuma."

He didn't speak, pulling out his phone as he walked away. I turned back to Doc, the hybrid too big for my lap. His shoulders and head rested on my lap as I lightly stroked his hair, hoping that he was okay.

"Doc, can you hear me..?"

He let out a light hiss, but he may just do that in his sleep. The wound was now fully healed, but there was a scar in the spot where the large gash used to be. I ran my hand over the spot, his skin slightly rough. I wrapped my arms around Doc's neck pulling him up and close to me. He hissed a little more, slightly moving in his sleep. He didn't wake up, which made worry shoot through my mind.

"Grian! What's wrong?!"

I looked up at X, who's worried look was hidden away by his visor. He was holding a healing potion in his hand, which was a relief. He ran over, sitting next to me and Doc. He uncorked the potion, pouring the sweet healing potion into Doc's mouth. That made the creeper stir, as he swallowed the sweet liquid. He stirred even more in my arms before finally waking up, gasping for breath. Tears flooded down my face as I wrapped my arms around Doc, our cheeks now touching. He tried choking out a few words, but only managed a few hisses. I looked up at Iskall, who looked down at the creeper before glancing at me.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

"I-I..."

"Iskall, did you do this..?"

"Yes.."
"I....I'll deal with you later. Grian, can we take Doc to your house? I'm not sure if we should travel in the nether with the summer heat."

I nodded, Xisuma helping me pick up Doc. Iskall moved to help, but he caught himself, taking a few steps back. Xisuma and I began walking through the jungle, Doc mumbling a few words in German. It would be a risk to fly with Doc, with his height I didn't think it was safe. We walked in silence, the only sounds was the grass below our feet and Doc's occasional mumbling. We were in Scar's magical village now, and I could see the lighting of my base in the distance. The sun was starting to set, meaning we needed to get back a bit faster. Xisuma had the same Idea, the two of us picking up the pace. By the time we made it to my bedroom, our arms were sore and tired. We helped Doc into my bed, as he mumbled a few more words in German.

"I need to have a word with Iskall, watch Doc, okay?"

I nodded and Xisuma ran down the stairs, leaving me and Doc alone. He seemed to be fully awake, but he wouldn't speak english, only German. I frowned when he tried talking to me, as I couldn't understand the words that he was saying. I left Doc, heading downstairs to make some tea. When I got back, Doc was trying to climb out of bed. I quickly set down the tea cups, pushing Doc back into bed. He hissed, but he didn't fight me. When he was settled, I grabbed the tea cups again, handing one to Doc. He sat up in the bed and slowly began sipping at the warm tea. I sat down on the mattress, sitting close to the cyborg.

"Can you speak english?"

"Nein, ich glaube nicht, dass ich kann. Ich weiß aber nicht warum."

"So you can understand me?"

"Ja, ich kann dich verstehen. Ich kann einfach kein Englisch mehr. Es könnte mein Übersetzer sein, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher."

I had no idea what he was saying. I just quickly looked away, continuing to sip my tea. I set one hand down on the mattress, steadying myself as I leaned back, still drinking my tea. I felt Doc grab my hand, causing me to turn and look at him. His eyes were glued to the ground, and he had set his tea down on the bedside table. He took the tea out of my hands, placing the cup next to his. He grabbed me, pulling me close and hugging me. My cheek was pressed against his chest as he lightly squeezed me, his voice slightly breaking.

"Es tut mir Leid. Ich habe dich angelogen. Sie werden nie hören, was ich sage, aber ich hoffe nur, dass Sie eines Tages verstehen. Grian, ich bin mir nicht sicher, wie ich mich fühle. Ich wurde dafür bezahlt, dich abzulenken, dich zu lieben. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es echt ist oder ob ich nur verrückt werde. Es tut mir so leid, Grian."

He began softly sobbing, and all I could do was hold him, rubbing the giant creepers back as he softly cried to me. I'll never understand what he just said to me, and I can only hope that it wasn't important.
