POV: Mumbo

I tapped my foot as Doc and Grian left. I'm definitely not staying with the two, it just hurts me. The only thing I feel is anger and bitter jealousy. Why would Grian love someone like Doc? Why not me? I shook my head, shoving the thought deep down where it belonged. I sighed, letting all my anger that had bubbled up in my chest melt away. It doesn't matter anymore, I'm not staying here. I walked down the steps, my eyes stuck to the ground as I made my way to Grian's message system. I placed a Minecart down. Hopping into the small iron cart. I hit the button, sending myself down the tunnel. The cart bumped up and down, rolling down the tracks. I put one arm onto the end on the cart, leaning my cheek onto my hand. I pulled out my phone, scrolling through a few texts that I had been to busy to read. My phone buzzed in my hand, signaling a new text. Iskall was trying to get into contact with me. I let out a breath, before clicking on his profile.

Iskall> dude, I'm sorry
Mumbo> leave me alone.
Iskall> Mumbo please

I blocked his number. I was tired of Iskall, I just wanted to be by myself. The cart came to a quick stop at the small hobbit hole that had sat behind my base. I closed my eyes, letting a breath out of my nose as I climbed out of the Minecart. I made it into my hobbit hole, walking over to my dusty old bed. It squeaked as I sat down onto it, getting under the familiar covers. I just wanted to stay here for the rest of my life.

"Mumbo..?"

The Swedish voice made my heart sink. I didn't move, hoping that Iskall would think that I was asleep. It seemed to work, because he just let out a heavy sigh, beginning to look through my chests. I didn't move, listening as he began scribbling something down onto a paper. He walked over, putting the note next to my bed. His footsteps faded as he seemed to walk through the nether portal. I waited a bit until I was sure that Iskall was gone. I slowly sat up, looking around my hobbit hole. I turned to the note next to my bed, grabbing the small paper and reading the words written onto it.

Mumbo-
I'm really sorry, I know you had a thing for Grian. I know your upset at me, after all, I almost killed Doc. But I know you want revenge on Doc. I know you want Grian. Doc has a memory card, and if we get that, I can fix him. I can help Doc remember english, or I could make him completely forget about Grian. I don't know what you want to do, but please, let me know. And please, I'm sorry.

-Iskall.

That idea made my heart speed up. I didn't want to mess with Doc, but having Grian back..? I shook my head, that was a bad idea, we could never do it. But still...
I pulled out my phone, unblocking Iskall's contact.

Mumbo> What's the plan?
~~~~~
"Are...are you sure?"
"Trust me Mumbo, once you do this, Grian will love you, no doubt."
This plan made my heart hurt, but I didn't care. Not being with Grian made me hurt even more. I pulled out my phone, texting Doc to come to my hobbit hole. I shoved my phone back into my pocket, waiting for a response. Iskall was typing away on his phone, writing something that I didn't care about. He put his phone away, hiding by my enchanting area.
"Okay, here's the plan."
"I already know the plan, Iskall."
"Let me just run it by you one last time. There's a small hatch on the back of Doc's robot eye. You distract him, and I'll open the hatch. Inside will be the memory card. When I pull it out, he should instantly become useless. I'll just..reprogram a few things, and then Doc will be back to normal."
I nodded, slightly jumping when the portal swirled a bit more. Doc stepped through, walking up to me. He was slightly taller than me, but he used that to his advantage, towering over me. I swallowed me fear, watching as Iskall crept behind the creeper.
"Was willst du Mumbo? Du sagtest, es du wichtig-"
Doc whipped around, Grabbing Iskall's wrist. He had opened the hatch on the back of Doc's head, and I could see the small card. Doc lightly hissed at Iskall, causing him to shoot me a glance. I was shocked back to reality, running over and pulling the memory card out of his head. Doc let go of Iskall, his whole body swaying from side to side. Doc fell to the ground, unconscious. Iskall quickly ran over, and I placed the card in his hand. His grin spread as he ran over to my bedside table, beginning to work on the card.
"Why does Doc even need a memory card?"
"I'm not sure. He told me once that it was because he was part creeper, it helped him stop going completely feral."
I looked back down at Doc, who began slightly hissing in his sleep. I jumped at that, not wanting Doc to explode. He never did, just stirring a bit. After a few more minutes, Iskall ran over, the card in his hands. He opened the hatch yet again, slipping the card in. He shut the hatch and hid again, watching as Doc mumbled a few words to himself. He rubbed the back of his head, standing up. He studied me for a few seconds, clearly confused. He shook his head, mumbling a few words to himself. He looked back at me, this time not as confused.
"Mumbo..? What happened?"
"Y-you passed out, so me and Iskall brought you here."
Iskall walked over, and Doc rubbed his head again, mumbling a few more words to himself.
"I feel like I needed to tell you something.."
"W-well, it's probably nothing. You should get back."
"Yeah..you're right. Thanks."
Doc walked to the portal, fading away into the nether. When he was gone, Iskall and I let out a breath of relief. We just did that. We just did that.
We actually did that.
