BACKSTORY | chaerin was born in gunpo, south korea in a high-class family. she has two older sisters named eunji and yeonha. she was the only one in her family who wanted to follow her father's footsteps in being a singer. both of her sisters wanted to become a models while she had her own dream. she trained hard to become what she want. she got casted into yg when she was out shopping with her sisters and though she originally thought it was a scam she went in for the audition and fortunately passed. her whole family was supportive about the whole situation and let her became a trainee. after years of training she got the chance to join a survival show and of course she wouldn't miss it for anything.
