It was 7:20, and I walked up to the school. "Why do I always have to be here so early?" I asked my spirit.

"Efficiency, remember? I can't believe we're discussing this again! God, I knew meeting another person like your past self was a mistake!" I'm told, with irritation in his voice

I started, /"I don't know, she's kinda cute- " I suddenly screamed in pain.

"Awe, did you miss that, bitch? I thought I wouldn't have to ever shock you again, but it turns out I was wrong. She is a bad influence, clearly." He snarled. Good thing I'm the only one that can see him, oh wait not anymore Layla can see him which is sorta cool.

"God, you're an asshole!" I exclaimed.

"Takes one to know one," he said.

"Let's just go to the cafeteria..." I growled not wanting to hear any more of his leaching

"Cafeteria? I thought you hated that place?" S asked surprised by my choice in location

"Well, I feel like sitting with Ana Sofia today, okay," I reply as I open the cafeteria doors, being the first student in there, except.

"Great," S groaned, "Layla..."

Yawning I wonder who actually would be here this early? I ask myself turning in direction of the door, I see Alex walking in my direction

Alex says awkwardly, "Hi... hi Layla" with a stuttered, It was kinda cute, wait what am I thinking "Oh hey Alex didn't know you got here early,'' Giving the ghost in the room my signature smirks and a sarcastic remark I knew would anger him "Hey voodoo"

"ahem S or Spirit" Alex corrects me

"Well yes and no on that one Alex, so ..why are you two here this early anyway?" I ask instead of wanting to change the topic

"And I do like S better, child," he says in a matter-of-fact tone that does sometimes get annoying if he does it so much.

Nodding understanding his wish not to be called that name even if it was just a joke "Okay and please don't call me a child I have a name"

"Yeah. Bitch!." S tells me quickly probably thinking good comeback

"Hey! That's rude!" Alex tell him trying to defend me, which was nice I guess

Chuckling raising my hand to say my comment, looking between the two in front of me "I know Alex it's fine I guess he just enjoys saying his nickname a lot" giving a satisfied smirk

Alex let out a little gasp in pain, already knowing it was because the ghost has an ability to physically hurt Alex " what was that for? I ask S, putting a hand on Alex's shoulder "Alex is. you okay?"

Alex glares at S "He's fine.." S makes a slightly frustrated noise

"But you didn't answer my question. Why is it because of what I said so you took it out on him?"

Alex had a flustered tint to his cheeks S whispers to Alex "Don't say shit or I'll shock you again!"

"He shocked because I agreed with you that S can and is a bitch"

I hum and shrug my shoulders not thinking what I said was anything to hurt someone over "Only pointing out a fact, Either way, that is still bullshit that he shocked you"

Alex lets out a gentle laugh "The fact he exists is bull crap"

Hearing him say that I asked him "Speaking of which, how did you even get a hold on him?"
