"Marcus, saan ka galing?" Andito na kami sa Manila at andito kami ngayon sa isang restaurant dahil nagcrave ulit sa Filipino foods ang mga bata."Wala." He said and he sat beside Megan while still looking at his phone. "Why is he so busy? Ako na Engineering hindi naman sobrang busy."
"Paano eh kuntento ka na sa tres." Megan said she leaned at her chair. "Eh mukhang si Nathan matalino at sobrang effort sa pag-aaral."
"Tss bahala na nga." I was busy placing foods at Hailey and Hardin's plate when Marcus talked again. "One week ka daw mawawala?"
"Yeah, may event sa Boracay." I said and I looked at Hardin's plate. "What's wrong? Don't you like puto?"
"I don't like it." He said and I nod while Hailey loves eating the rice cakes. "Why are you going to Boracay, Mom? What's the event?"
"Another charity event, baby." I smiled and he nod.
"Hey." I looked at who came and it's Dalton he smiled at me and sat beside me. "Are you going to the event?"
"Yes, I need to and besides I love participating in charity events."
"Well I guess we'll be going together then? I'll be Mom's proxy since she can't go because she'll be judging some prestigious pageant here in Asia."
"Sobrang busy ata ni Ms. Elizabeth ngayon?" I asked and he nod.
"Imagine being the handler of dozen of in demand models, it's already expected." He was about to talk again when he saw Hardin going back to our table after getting some mais con yelo. "Nice shoes, Hardin."
"Yeah! It's from our Dad!" Hailey smiled. "I realized that even if I didn't received a gift from him he's still my Dad and I love him!"
"He knows?" Dalton looked at me.
"No, hindi pa." I said.
"You're also here." I looked at who talked while i'm sitting on the sand watching the moon. "As expected."
"Yeah." I smiled and he sat beside me. "You're with your girlfriend?"
"Yeah, she's already sleeping." He said and threw some stones at the sea. "You're also with your Dalton, I saw him earlier and I already knew that you'll also be here."
Tumahimik na lamang ako at pinanuod ang pag-alon ng dagat at napatingin ako sa kanya.
"When will you settle?" I asked and he looked at me.
"I don't know." He said. "I don't think my relationship with Brie will last longer."
"Why?"
"I really don't know." He said and looked at the moon. "It's already late, you should sleep already."
Tumango ako at tumayo, pinagpag ko ang aking dress.
"Good night, Hollace."
"Good night, Magui."
Dalton was guiding me while we're both smiling at the cameras. This is the event and I can see paintings from the children in the charity. They're selling it for cause and I must say that even though the drawings weren't so good at all, I can say that it means a lot. On how much they wanted for a family, how their life goes, and how much struggles they're experiencing in their young age.
