With a Love Like That

Lily's POV

I entered my house with Romeo trailing behind me. "Hello Mama!" I hugged my mom quickly and skipped up to my room, my smile too big for my face. "Mrs Harrington." I heard Romeo mutter a greeting before jogging up the stairs to meet me.

"Lily, before we start," he asked once we were in my room. "Can you show me that song that you played for the cheater's contact?" He finished his question nervously. "Sure." My smile faltered slightly as I took out my phone and clicked on Spotify.

I went through my playlist and found She Loves You by The Beatles.

"Ready?" I asked him, my voice shaking slightly.

"Always, darling."

I stared at him intently, then clicked play.

She loves you, yeah yeah yeah
She loves you, yeah yeah yeah
She loves you, yeah yeah yeah yeah

You think you lost your love
Well, I saw her yesterday
It's you she's thinking of
And she told me what to say-ay

She said she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad

She said you hurt her so
She almost lost her mind
But now she says she knows
You're not the hurting kind

She says she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad

You know it's up to you
I think it's only fair
Pride can hurt you too
Apologize to her

Because she loves you
And you know that can't be bad
Yes, she loves you
And you know you should be glad

She loves you, yeah yeah yeah

She loves you, yeah yeah yeah

With a love like that

You know you should be glad

With a love like that

You know you should be glad

With a love like that

You know you should be glad

Yeah, yeah yeah

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I turned off the next song that was coming, which was I Want to Hold Your Hand. I sniffed, staring at Romeo for his reaction. He turned and looked at me, and neither of us said anything for a long while. "Wow." He finally said, breathlessly. "I though music from 50 years ago, was like, lame." He smiled slightly. "Are there any others?" He asked me eagerly. "A great number." I said, smiling slightly. "What was one... you would put for my contact?" He asked me again, smiling lightly.
