Ok so I have been pondering this for so long and I want to ask you guys' opinion.
Do you think red is really Sophie's color?
Ok so we have all hopefully read the part (I can't remember which book) where Biana tells Sophie that Della was right, red is really her color.
But I don't think red really works for her at all.
Sure, red is a pretty color, and probably wouldn't look bad on Sophie. But I don't really understand how it would bring out any of her features.
I personally think it clashes with her brown eyes, blond hair, and pale skin.
I also think that purple would be a much better fit for Sophie.
Here is my case/evidence.
Even though red is supposedly Sophie's color, why does she never really wear it again until Legacy?
Even when she was trying to look pretty for Fitz in Flashback (Ew) she wore purple.
To test this theory further, I decided to find a reference.
I am a Dance Moms fan, and I stan Chloe.
(If you aren't familiar, her full name is Chloe Lukasiak)
She has naturally blonde hair and brown eyes, so I decided to pull up pictures of her wearing different colors to see how they would look on Sophie.
Here is what I came up with:

The red looks okay, (to be fair, it has other colors in there too) but it just looks okay. She definitely looks pretty, I just don't think it's that great of a color on her. 6/10

See! This is what I'm talking about! This dark purple really brings out her eyes and just looks so great on her! 10/10!

This is a lighter purple because I wanted to show both. I personally think Sophie can rock both dark and light purple! 10/10!

This white looks really good, Sophie would definitely look so pretty on her wedding day (if she does get married) I feel like it doesn't really go well because her skin is pale but it does help bring out her brown eyes. 8/10!

This light blue is so pretty and I think it's one of Sophie's best colors! No choice but to stan, 10/10!

This dark blue also looks really good! It's not my personal favorite but I still think it's better than red. 7/10.

Okay black normally makes people look really sophisticated but I think it will just swallow Sophie up like a shadow. Like it's still better than the red but it's one of my last choices for her. 7/10.
