Tom's POV:

How could she do this to me...

I didn't think Jessica would move on so fast...

I thought...we still had a chance...

But now the stupid idiot Finn had to mess it up for me and her!

For a split second I thought she actually was happy to see me and we were about to get back together but clearly not since she's obviously with Finn now. I fucking hate him with a passion now I really do.

As I was walking away I heard Jess call after me but I didn't want to hear it she'd probably say something like

"While we were broken up I didn't think I'd mattered I'm so sorry you have to find out this way"

I don't want to deal with any of that shit so I'll just got up and left and won't even glance at her for the rest of the day. Which is going to be difficult to do because of how fucking hot she is.

I could stare at her all day if I could...

The question is though is it worth getting suspended for beating up Finley..?

I'm starting to think it might, I can just beat him up after school!!

That seems like a perfectly good idea right?

Jessica's POV:

Tom avoided me all day...

I tried so hard to explain to him and talk to him about what happened but he wouldn't listen at all.

I had done some thinking and came to an idea. Sure it's extremely cliché and it's usually the guy who does this in books and movies and this usually only happens in a book or movie even though this so is not some romantic story that's so cliché...fuck it.

I went and grabbed my keys.

When I arrive at his house I grabbed my speaker and set up the song.

Is it idiotic?

Yes

Is it extremely cliché?

Absolutely

Am I doing it anyway?

Definitely

I hope I'm standing outside the right fucking window...

I start playing the song

I saw the window open
"Jessica what are you doing here?" Tom shouted out.

"You wouldn't talk to me at all today so I did the thing that seemed like the best idea and made the most sense at the time" I said simply.

"You coming to my house while holding a speaker and playing a song made the most sense to you?!" Tom said.

"Well I mean, when you put it like that..." I said in response.

"Why are you here Jess?" Tom asked.

"To explain to you that what happened today really wasn't what it looked like" I said.

"Really? Because it looked a lot like Finley coming up to you and kissing you like you two were dating" Tom said with a little pain in his voice.

"What?" Tom said really confused.

"Finn came up to me when I was just on my way to talk to you and try to take you back" I said.

"What about the kiss Jessica?" Tom said clearly not buying it.

"I am getting there, let me finish!" I said a little annoyed.

"When he talked to me he tried asking me out but I rejected him. Finn obviously didn't want to take no for an answer so he tried talking me out of taking you back saying that we'd never work out-"

"SON OF A BITCH!" Tom interrupted.

"Stop interrupting me! Anyways as I was saying, after he finished he kissed me and left, Tom it happened so fast I couldn't react which is disappointing because I really wanted to slap him..."

Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand?
With every guitar string scar on my hand
I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover

"So you wanted to take me back?" Tom asked hopefully.

"Yes! You idiot" I said.

"I'll be right back" Tom said closing the window.

"Wait what are you doing?" I asked but he already left.

But then he showed up outside

"What are you doing?" I asked now really confused

"Well we can't not dance to music now can we Jessica?" Tom said taking me by the waist so we could dance.

We ended up singing really badly while dancing and just having a bunch of fun.

The rest of the night felt perfect being here with Tom.

I realised that no matter what happened I don't think anyone will get in between us.
