Letters are often written straight from the heart and there is certainly a romantic sort of quality about them. Today we are challenging you to write an LGBTQ+ themed short story of 500-1000 words that involves receiving or finding a letter

Prompt: On graduation day, your clique buried a time capsule in your backyard. Ten years later, you organize a reunion to open it. The box filled with photographs, concert tickets, restaurant bills and a letter. The later caught your attention as it was addressed to you. What happened next?

This is an open prompt, so how you choose to interpret is up to you as a writer. Is it a humor story? A feel-good romance? A work of fantasy? A dark and twisted mystery?

Whatever it turns out to be, don't forget to write it in the comments below and also show your support for all the participants!
