Uchiha Itachi x Reader

You can say that you are proud to be an Uchiha. Your name is famous throughout the Uchiha clan. Every Uchiha have known you.

One thing is, you had unlocked your Sharingan by luck at the age of three, making you the youngest Uchiha to ever unlock their Sharingan first.

You were the same age as your friend and secret crush, Uchiha Itachi. You often go over to his place and sometimes, or most times, to play with his younger brother Sasuke.

You were really close to Itachi in the past but recently, he had been becoming quite distant. Not only to you but to Sasuke as well and you started to get worried.

"Itachi-kun!" You exclaim and you had found him sitting by the lake.

"Y-Y/N? What're you doing here?" Itachi ask.

"I would like to ask you that" You said as you sit down beside him.

"Just needed some alone time" says Itachi.

"Hmmm, so even the Uchiha genius has problems" You said.

"I may be called a genius but I'm still human" says Itachi and you chuckled.

The two of you enjoyed the comfortable silence until Itachi questions about your knowledge on the Uchiha history.

"What's your point?" You ask.

"If the clan really is planning on the coup d'etat on Konoha... Who are you siding with?" Itachi ask.

You remained silent but eventually answered with a smile.

"I'm siding with the village. Aren't you the same too Itachi-kun?" You ask.

Itachi was shock. He didn't expect anyone other than himself to be siding with the village.

"Why don't you side with the clan?" He ask, wanting to understand your choice.

"Konohagakure is where I am born. Here, well, it's my home. I may be an Uchiha but... I want to protect Konoha, my home.

I want to protect the people I love so much. I can't bear to see the village in bits and crumbles if the clan decides to plot a coup d'etat" You said.

"Then I suppose I could tell you something... In a few days time I'm planning to kill our clan" Says Itachi and your eyes widen.

"Are you serious Itachi-kun? You're going to kill everyone?! What about Sasuke?!" You questioned.

"Calm down Y/N. I'm not going to kill Sasuke. This is to protect him. I'll have him to hate me for killing the clan" says Itachi.

"You're serious are you?" You ask and Itachi nods.

You remained silent. You were at loss for words. A few days later, you could hear sword slashing and the sound of blood spilling.

You ran outside and see Itachi killing members of the Uchiha clan. You eyed brimmed with tears and sadness.

"Y/N..." He called.

"Itachi-kun... I see you're really doing it" You said.

"I don't want to kill you Y/N" says Itachi.

"Kill me with the others Itachi-kun" You said sternly and Itachi was hesitating.

"But Y/N-"

"You're doing this to protect Sasuke right? Well, better hurry up. He's coming back soon" You said.

"I really don't want to kill you"

"But you've got no choice Sasuke. If you won't kill me, I'll kill myself then" You said.

You pull out your dagger and was about to pierce it through your heart when Itachi stopped you, much to your surprise.

"Itachi-kun!"

"Look at me in the eye please" He pleaded.

You did as he says and Itachi unleashes his Mangekyo Sharingan technique, Tsukuyomi. Your eyes widen as you were transported into another world.

You could see an older version of you and Itachi and Sasuke. All living happily that brought you to tears.

"I've always loved you Y/N" Itachi says.

"Itachi-kun... I love you too" You mumbled and with shaking arms, Itachi slashes you and you fell into his arms.

"Y/N!"

"Don't cry Itachi-kun... You... Did the right thing" You said weakly.

"I'm sorry. I love you" He whispers.

"I love you too Itachi-kun. I'm sure... We... Will... Meet again..." You said and soon fell into darkness with Itachi holding your lifeless body.

You woke up in a beautiful place and you could see your world. You then realized that you really died and since then, you watch over Konoha and at times, Itachi as well.

Years later, you had a tear escaped your eye as Itachi falls to the floor over poking Sasuke's head. You the turn behind to see Itachi lying on the ground.

You immediately rush to his side. Your eyes watered as you thought the possibility that you and Itachi could finally be together.

"Itachi-kun!" You called.

Itachi opens his eyes, completely shock when he sees you. You smilef with tears as you engulf him in a hug.

"I'd knew I would see you again" You whispered.

"Y/N..."

"I love you Itachi-kun..." You said.

Itachi smiles and hugs you back and whispered to you, "I love you too".
