*Merry Christmas, it's Christmas Eve here in the UK and so I thought an early Christmas present and upload. I don't own TMNT, that goes to Eastman and Laird who came up with these awesome characters. MERRY CHRISTMAS!*

You were new to a large city such as New York, you were used to the close knit community of an Australian town, it was worse for you since your family were still in Australia and the reason you were here was for the final year at University where you were to stay in New York City to study the city life for a year.
But on the plus side, your apartment was in the better part of the city and therefore away from the drug users and the gangs so you were likely to get tangled up with them. The only friend you knew was a Silver Tabby you called Tigger, with his playful attitude and silvery blue eyes you fell in love with him. He generally stayed around the apartment, and never venturing far if he did wander off.

You were getting close to your apartment when you heard a cat meow loudly, being the only cat within the block you knew it had to be Tigger; he didn’t like anyone he didn’t know. You ran to your apartment to see five men with guns looting your home, you turned and ran to go and get help but they grabbed you and placed a gun to your head.
“Don’t make a sound and I will make your end swift,” he grinned, yellow teeth showing along with alcoholic breath making you want to vomit.
They tied you to a kitchen chair before gagging you with piece of material, “Hey maybe we can have some fun with the little fox,” one of them cackled and you shook with fear as he placed his hand on your cheek.

You watched as they looted the apartment, tears overflowing as they stole what they pleased including your mother’s jewellery before breaking your family pictures. Tigger was on the fire escape pawing and meowing from outside,
“Stupid cat we should have rung its neck as we entered,” one of them snarled.
Suddenly the lights went, you froze when you heard a gentle voice near your ear,
“Hey it’s okay, but you mustn’t move until I clear your apartment of these people,” he whispered, as the burglars moved around.
“Who’s there,” they turned on their flash lights and the body behind you vanished and you blinked under the light shining in your face.
A gun was shoved under your chin forcing you to look up, “Who did you call,” he snarled.

“She didn’t call anyone,” a voice from the shadows, “Her cat raised the alarm,” he was over six feet and held out what seemed to be a large Staff.
You closed your eyes as a fight broke out in your apartment; you cowered into the chair, tears breaking free once more and then silence.
You opened your eyes to find their bodies being tied together, by a giant turtle, your eyes widened and you whimpered before trying to stand up, failing completely and falling backwards in the chair.

This crash caught his attention and he turned his head towards you, you struggled as he sat down bedside you and placed one hand on your shoulders and one on your face,
“I’m not going to hurt you,” he soothed and you started calming down, he righted the chair that you were and untied and ungagged you.
“W-What a-a-are you,” you stuttered trying to calm yourself.
“I am a giant mutagenic turtle,” he shrugged going back to the unconscious bodies.
“Are they...”
“No, merely knocked out,” he smiled a little and you watched him, watched his hazel eyes and the glasses on the edge of his snout which he pushed up further to see better.
“You might want to call the cops now Miss,” he looked up and you looked away quickly.
“Okay, I suppose I can’t mention you,” you smiled amused a little.
“It would be wise not to,” he mused with a little smile.

Once the police were informed you walked out on to your balcony with the reptile, Tigger was purring under the touch of the turtle,
“Wow, he’s never done that to strangers before,” you smiled, “You must be special.”
Sirens were heard in the distance, “I had better be going,” he smiled.
“Will I see you again, or is this it,” you asked.
“Our paths may cross again,” he leapt onto a roof top, “Good night Miss.”
“It’s (Y/N),” you shrug.
“(Y/N) and I am Donatello,” and with that he was gone, as silent as the wind that swirled the city.

*If I have time, I might upload another chapter tomorrow on Christmas Day as my present to you guys.*
