I stepped into our apartment just to be welcomed by darkness. I looked at my phone on my hand to see 12.04 displayed on the screen. I frowned. Bright's not home yet?

Then I paused.

Home.

I like that word, I smiled by myself thinking about it.

I stepped further in after changing my shoes then turned on some lights.

It's been months since we live together and each day the feeling of us being a couple grew more and more visible. We lived like an old married couple to be honest, we bickered a little bit too much than we should, even if it just because of small things. Then we made up just by watching television in silence for a few minutes.

We slept together since that day, both realizing how nice it was to sleep with such kind of warmth surrounding us and woke up with the same feelings. Yeah, except for the nights when we had a little arguments.

I couldn't help but felt my feelings also grew along with the day passed by. Couldn't help but missing him when he or I was out of town to do some work. But I still couldn't figure out his feelings towards me. Does he still couldn't move on and only think of me as a friend? Or something might change too?

I sighed, slumped to the couch. Why he's not home yet? I couldn't help but miss him already. I pouted by the thoughts.

He was quite busy these days. Since he finished his training days and started the real work in the office. I sighed again and walked to our room –Actually, Bright's room but who cares—to shower and get ready for bed.

The time I stepped out of the bathroom, I saw Bright's lean body on the bed facing down. I guess he passed out after work and need some rest.

But have he eaten yet? Why doesn't he change his clothes first?

Ugh, I guess I have to take care a big baby right now.

I took my shirt and after properly dressed, I walked to him. I shook his shoulders. "Bright, change your clothes first."

I didn't get any answers. So I tried, again. "Bright, have you eat?"

Then I saw he opened his eyes slightly, that seems so hard to open those eyes. Then he shook his head weakly. Something's not right here.

I touched his forehead.

Shit he's burning!

I decided to make porridge for him so I stood and wanted to walk away when I felt his hand slightly brushing mine, trying to grab my hand but failed miserably. So took his reaching hand and gave it a little squeeze. "Don't worry I'm just going to make you something to eat." I caressed his hair then he let go.

While waiting the porridge to cook, I prepared water in a bowl with a towel and tried to lower his temperature. I gently undress him with his help a little bit then started to clean his arms, belly, feet, practically every part of his body except the forbidden area. Then I dressed him with some comfortable clothes before putting the towel on his forehead.

I stepped out and came back with a bowl of hot porridge in my hand. I sat beside him, "Bright, let's eat first, okay?" i remove the towel on his head.

He opened his eyes then tried to sit, I help him when I saw him struggle. I gave him the porridge spoon by spoon until there was nothing left then I handed him a medicine and warm water.

But he looked at me, didn't took the medicine.

His gaze kind of made me felt uneasy so I asked, "What's wrong?"

"I- I can't take pills." He lowered his look.

Oh, so he's unusual with medicines. Such a cutie.

"Don't worry, I will be fine after eating your porridge and warm water. But I think I couldn't turn on the air con, to let my body sweat. You should sleep on your own room." He said while taking the warm water from my hand.

He could speak that much, means he's not that weak anymore. I touched his forehead again, warm, not as hot as a few minutes ago, but still not normal.

I took the glass after he finished the whole glass of water then went out to put the dishes to the sink.

I walked back to Bright's room and saw him sleeping by his side, not facing the door where I was standing. I walked closer and slept on my side of the bed.

I guessed he felt the bed dipped behind him so he turned. "What are you doing here?"

I faced the ceiling and put my hands on my stomach. "Sleeping." I said while closing my eyes.

"You can't sleep if the temperature isn't low, right? And if you're here you'll catch  my cold." He shifted, facing me.

I opened my eyes then shifted to my side, facing him. I looked into his eyes.

This kind of moment just confirmed my feelings toward him that slowly changed in to love.

I scooted closer to him then hug him –more like trapping him to my arms and dipped his face to my chest and squeezed him—before saying, "I don't care, I just want to be with you."

Then I heard him mumbled something like 'Can't- breathe' so I released him enough to make space for us to look at each other but he was still in my arms.

He let out a small weak smile then snuggled his head back to me. The tingling feelings really just made my day and let me forget everything that happened in the world. In this kind of time, all I can think of is him and I, us, together.

"I love you."

Those three word didn't came out of my mouth.

I was stunned for a second but regained my sense just so I wouldn't ruin this perfect moment, but I failed when I said, "I know." While smiling-slash-grinning.

"I know you know." He said. I could feel the vibration of his voice by the distance we were in –Which is not existed. "And I know one more thing."

"And that is?"

"That you love me, too." He tightened the hug.

Now a genuine smile was the only thing that remained on my face. "Yes, I do."
