Series of feelings

After the camping trip ran went to the hospital with hakase , conan and haibara before going home
The doctor: well mis ran I've examined your leg you will be fine it's a little sprain you need to rest for a week and you can use this cane when you have to walk so you don't put pressure on it
After that ran and conan was taken home and hakase and haibara headed home
When they entered the house hakase went straight to the kitchen meanwhile haibara felt something is wrong felt something so familiar she used to feel it when she was still with the organization she stopped in her place shocked: c could it be ? They they found me?
She went running to the kitchen ( oh hakase hakase is in danger)
When she entered the kitchen she found him taking a chicken out the fridge and looked at her : what is it ai kun you look so pale
: ah it's nothing hakase
And she went running up stairs she checked everywhere every room and every bathroom she even checked the rooftop she didn't find anything
(I must be imagining that can't be true)
She went to her room opened the light and lied on her bed when she was about to close her eyes something got her attention it was a sticking note on the wall in front of her it was a neon one it looks like one of hers but she doesn't recall using it because she would usually use it in the basement down there where her laboratory is located so she got up on her feet walking slowly with her heart beating in her chest and the clock behind her is ticking with every step and a drunk man's voice from the street reaches to her room . She extended her hand grabbing the note read it with her eyes and her worst nightmares came true on that sticky note there was an elegant and neat handwriting that says "Hello there sherry long time no see , if you want that old man alive you have to do what I say or you will see my bullets decorating his fat body"
Now it's hard to breathe she's breathing so fast walk back and forth in fast steps in her room her hand holding her head she was about to go crazy her beating heart almost audible and in the middle of all that a message to her phone is enough for her to make her cry but she held it in and held her phone with trembling hand reading the message with her eyes again the message was from an anonymous sender but she knows very well who sent it the message sent her a location and a not at the end says " if sweet sherry don't show up she can kiss her old man's cheek goodbye"
A hot tear rushed on her right cheek announcing that there's more on the way she closed the light and covered her self with her blanket afraid and crying that's how haibara's night went

It was 7:30 when haibara went downstairs the professor was cooking the breakfast when haibara entered the kitchen she the smell of egg rolls and a hot black coffee that tingled her nostrils and there was a miso soup and natto with rice on the table a real , and rare smile was painted on her face : well that's odd , I almost can't believe my eyes
The professor looked at her with a cheeky smile on his face and in his hand there was a basket with bread in it freshly made and out of the oven

She smiled and raised a brow: I know i can't believe it you and a healthy breakfast those two never comes together
He laughed so much: oh i made that for you I noticed yesterday you were looking pale and went to sleep early so I decided to cheer you up  I hope it worked
Her smile suddenly disappeared once she remembered yesterday's events but she quickly covered it with a smile: oh professor of course it will work it will be shame on me if it didn't, i just felt a little blue yesterday because it's been a long time and I still can't get the right formula to finish the antidote that's all
Hakase: don't think about it too much even Shinichi doesn't mention it at all these day
Haibara: that's more reason to finish it faster hakase
Hakase: now now stop thinking too much it's a fine day today look at that cloudy sky , you better hurry and change you will be late for school
Haibara sipping her coffee: oh i figured that I will not go to school today
With her finishing her sentence there was an angry little detective sprinting through the door : I've been waiting outside in that cold weather for half an hour to find you here having this delicious breakfast without me how dare you
Haibara looked at the watch: oh how time flies we didn't notice it
Conan: of course you won't you even forgot about me
He came running and bushed haibara just a little jokingly: now move I didn't have breakfast because I was afraid i will keep you waiting , now will you go change so we can go to school even if it was things we already studied before we still gonna be in problem if we're late
She looked at the professor and he smiled at her and she went up stairs running
On their way to school they met with the detective boys
Ayumi: ai chan i was afraid that you won't come
Conan: i was too
Ai stole a glance to him
Conan : but guess what when I went to her home I found her and the professor having the greatest breakfast I have ever seen
Genta looked at haibara his eyes were about to fall at the mention of breakfast: AND YOU DID NOT THINK TO CALL US SHAME ON YOU
Haibara whispered to conan: now his declaring war on me are you happy ?
Conan laughed an evil laugh : haha serves you right that's what you get if you leave me waiting for you , you need to put yourself in my shoes
She smirked: waiting for you is something I'm used to tante kun
Conan looked at her confused not noticing the reddens in his cheeks

She came closer to genta who was standing folding his hands to his chest she tweaked his cheek jokingly: come on genta kun you know i will never forget you when it comes to food
She grabbed a big lunch box out of her bag : I didn't even eat , I saved it so we can all enjoy it when it's lunch time
A big smile was starting to show up on genta's face his mouth was open, mitsuhiko closed it : genta kun your jaw about to fall come now we can't gather your parts in the middle of the streets we're late

Meanwhile in titan high school
Ran: sonoku I didn't see or call shinchi after my birthday party what should I do?
Sonoku: ran you need to call him of course his your husband you need to keep informed about his whereabouts
Ran's face was so red at the mention of "Husband" : his not my husband sonoku stop saying that people will believe it
Sonoku with a sarcastic face: well my dear friend ran isn't marriage in your schedule if you keep on dating?
Ran redder than before: yes well of course but..
She was cut with sonoku's hand shushing her : yes yes he didn't confess properly to you even though he kissed you on the cheek at the school trip right right
Ran's memory went to that day when he kissed her cheek it was a hint maybe to what he wanted to tell me .
She left her head up to the sky smiling "oh shinchi how much I've missed you, I need you to come back to tell you my feelings properly"
