As the bullet flies out of the chamber and into the air with great elegance, it aims for the target beyond the shooter. As it pushes through the air with great speed, it gains less distance than it has before. Until that moment when it strikes the target.

Gunshots in movies and video games are two-a-penny, each one only marginally increasing the viewer's adrenaline. But in real life they are as good as a hypodermic to the heart. Each one isn't simply loud, it cracks into the air and echoes around the room, magnifying the feeling of our vulnerability.

12 hours earlier

As Lisa woke up, Jennie was not by her side anymore. Anxiety was growing up inside her, as her last night's dream popped into her head.
She exited the room and went towards Jisoo's and Rosé's room finding them still asleep. She went back inside and grabbed her phone to message Jennie just to check that everything were going well.

*message tone*

Jennie was on the way to the concert's hall. When they had a scheduled live performance, preparations were usually started very early in the morning. A lot of things had to be done by the evening and a lot had to be checked over and over again to achieve a perfect outcome.

She looked at her smartphone's screen and as she saw Poo Poo's name a soft smile was formed in her lips.

****I missed my chance to see you bleary eyed. *****

She smiled widely upon reading Lisa's message and quickly typed a reply.

**** You might have been terrified.****

Once she read her response Lisa smiled. There was no way Jennie would have been terrifying.

That kind of indirect flirting with Lisa was intriguing for Jennie.

Lisa was always good on cornering Jennie also. She always had a come back ready when they bander.

Lisa imagined Jennie saying it and her face lighted up.

Jennie found it very sweet that the first thing Lisa did when she woke up was to text her. Jennie was looking forward to see her as soon as possible. That's how she was feeling. When she woke up this morning, she found Lisa backhugging her. She felt so happy and content. Like something that was missing before just filled the gap. If only, she could confess to Lisa. If only, she could give in Lisa's charm. Unfortunately, she couldn't. That's why she typed;

Lisa was still lying in her Jennie's bed. Everything was smelling like Jennie. She imagined waking up on this bed with Jennie by her side and kiss her all along. Heartbreaking. Not to be able to be with the one you love.
