NO PERSPECTIVEBoth Harry and Amelia found themselves more tired than usual the next morning, but neither would cancel a time to hang out together.
Amelia didn't even change out of her pajamas when Harry entered the bar. Today was her day off so she showered and changed back into pajamas, not really caring much. She only wore mascara and her curls were tamed down. Harry adorned sweatpants, a white t-shirt and sunglasses holding back his own short brown curls.
"You seem tired." Harry mused as he set down the açaí bowls he had brought for breakfast.
"Trust me, I am." Amelia hummed in reply.
He laughed lightly, "We didn't have to meet today if you wanted to sleep in."
"I've got an idea that will involve us both, and end in more sleep for the both of us as well." Amelia muses with her bright smile that melts Harry's heart.
"What's that?" His eyes shine with amusement as the words leave his mouth.
She pointed above her head to the apartment, "Mia had to visit her parents out of state for the day, so I call for breakfast and movies on my couch."
"A lazy day sounds absolutely perfect to me."
———————————
"God, that movie is so sad every time." Amelia cries, her legs on Harry's lap while his hands rest atop them.
He chuckles lightly at her even though he feels the same way, "I don't know what you're talking about."
Amelia laughs loudly and grabs his face, inspecting it for tears, "I know you're upset, show it!"
Harry shakes his head as best as possible with her holding it, "Nope. Not a single ounce of sadness in this powerful man." He lifts his arms jokingly to showcase his 'guns'.
Amelia scoffs and rolls her eyes playfully as she moves back to her original position, "Narcissist."
"Ya got that one right, baby." Harry muses.
She turns off the television and hums in content, "Let's play questions."
"Questions?" He tilts his head slightly as he moves to face her more.
Amelia nods, "Questions. It's basically twenty questions, but you can have more or less than twenty."
"Hm, alright. You first." As he speaks, Amelia removes her legs from on top of his and sits criss cross while facing him on her couch.
Harry mirrors her motions as she asks the first question, "Where'd you grow up?"
"Holmes Chapel, England. You?"
"Here. Boring use of your first question." She teases, "Hm, favorite book?"
"Probably Norwegian Wood." Harry answers, "Favorite color?"
Amelia thinks for a second before replying, "I have two. Gold for golden sunflowers and the sun. Red for cherries and watermelon because they're my favorite fruit."
Harry nods in approval, "Complex, I like it."
"As you should." Amelia chuckles, "Any siblings?"
"I have an older sister named Gemma." Harry cocks his eyebrow, "Why didn't you ever search me up? You could find all this stuff online."
Amelia shrugs, "I don't know. I kept up with your music and stuff, but it felt weird not hearing the personal stuff from you. I guess I just kind of was hoping we'd see each other again, then you'd tell me yourself." She fumbles with her rings nervously, "Should I have searched you up?"
Harry shakes his head, "No, no. I just thought you would've searched me and the boys up right away. I like being able to tell you personally, plus half the stuff the media posts is false anyways." He grabbed her hands to stop them from fumbling further, "I'm sorry I didn't reach out sooner. I should've."
"I didn't expect you to, if I'm being honest." Her blue eyes met his green ones, "I just had a feeling that I'd see you again, though I did try to push it away. Plus, I could've been the one to make a move or reach out too, so it's as much my fault as yours."
Harry smiled, "Let's start over." He let go of her hands and extended one of his to her after standing from the couch, "Hello, my name is Harry. You are?"
She chuckled lightly at the antics and shook his hand, "Hello, Harry. My name is Amelia."
"Ah, a beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He winks, "Care to dance with me, Amelia?"
Amelia's heart flutters at the way her name rolls of his tongue as she nods in reply to his question. He takes a stronger grip of her hand and life her from the couch. Her hands find their way around his neck and his around her waist as they do the same thing they always do: dance.
"Why are we always dancing?" Amelia laughs as they sway with no music and no care in the world.
He shrugs, "I'm not sure, but I do quite like it."
The front door opening causes them to stop swaying as Mia comes into view. Their hands don't move from each other as they break out into laughter at Mia's confused and shocked face. Her arms are full of grocery bags and they all drop at the sight of Harry in their living room.
"What the hell did I miss?" Mia breaks their laughter with her voice.
Amelia sways their bodies once again, "I don't know what you're talking about, we're just dancing."
"Yeah, Mia, what's wrong with a little dancing?" Harry adds, twirling Amelia around and dipping her exaggeratively.
Mia rolls her eyes at the pair, "You're both dumb. Made for each other."
