if you couldn't tell, 1 o'clock mood is Izuku

Today is the day of the Sports Festival. I'm currently putting on my uniform, and I can't help but think about what Shoto said. He's not wrong. I am technically half assing this too. Maybe I should tell Dad.. No. He wants you to be just like him. A great strong hero.

A hero...

Maybe I can tell him about me being gay. He didn't seem that upset about Hitoshi at the hospital. But he could have been faking it. What if Hitoshi is faking it too? What if I really am just some annoying guy to him. I've probably just been bothering him this whole time.

What if he is just hanging out with me just because he pities me? Or just because I helped him out at the entrance exam. He just thinks that I'm annoying. What if Iida is only hanging out with us just because he feels bad about calling me out. Uraraka is probably just hanging out with me because I saved her.

Mei is probably only hanging out with me because of my inventions. Shoto is only hanging out with me now because of Uncle Enji..

"Hey champ! You ready?" my father calls from downstairs, shaking me out of my depressive thoughts. "Yeah!" I call back while finishing off the uniform I stuff the tie into my backpack and slip on my shoes. I'll tie it at school.

Who am I kidding, I don't know how to tie a tie..

I rush down the stairs, almost running into my dad. "Sorry Dad!" I apologize. "It's okay bud! You didn't tie your tie again." he pointed out. I laugh lightly and rub my neck in embarrassment. "Can you help me? Please?" I ask. He chuckles softly before nodding. "Sure." he said before holding out his hand.

I rummage through my bag before grabbing my tie. I pull it out and hand it over. He flips up my collar and wraps it around it. "So, uh Dad, can I tell you something?" I ask quietly. He hums in acknowledgement. Well, looks like I really am doing it. "Dad. I'm gay." I said. He stopped and looked at me. I looked down, not daring to meet his eyes.

"Izuku. Look at me." he said softly. I slowly lift my head and look him in his eyes. He smiles a warm, kind smile before wrapping me in a hug. "Thank you for telling me son." he said softly into my hair. I smile brightly and hug back. "So, have you told your mother yet?" he asked after we pulled away. I scratch the back of my head and shake my head. "No. Not yet. I was wondering if you could help me?" I ask quietly.

"Sure kiddo." he said. "Can you tell her while I'm at school?" I ask. "Sure, but you can fully explain to her when you get home." he said smiling. "Thanks Dad!" I said happily. "No problem, now let me finish tying your tie." he said while ruffling my hair. I nod and let him finish.

"Thanks Dad! Bye, love you!" I call out before walking out the door. Mom was at work, hopefully she will accept me like Dad did. Yeah.

I shake the thought of her not accepting me and continue on my way to school.

short chapter but I still somewhat like it
