Season 9 Episode 10 - No Hope

PREVIOUSLY:
ETHAN'S DEATH ROCKED NEGAN AND LILLY AND KIM.
LILLY VICIOUSLY KILLED THE WHISPERERS.
LILLY THREATNED CARSON TO SAVE TROY'S LIFE.

Lilly walks outside towards the graves and stops before two small graveside. She looks down at Meghan's grave and beside Meghan's grave is Ethan's. Lilly kneels down and sits on the dirty ground with her legs in a basket. Lilly places her hands down on the dirt above Ethan's corpse and tears begin to flow down her pale cheeks and she says with a shaky breath "My Baby boy I am so so sorry. I failed you and I failed your big Sister. What happened to our Family is my fault, I thought what I always I thought...I thought I could handle it. But I promise you I'm gonna change for you, I know it's a bit late that the damage I caused but I'm gonna change for the better. I'm going to visit you ever day and every night just like I do with Meg. I love you Ethan, ever since i felt your first little kick, you were and always will be my Sunshine. And dont worry about your Daddy, your Daddy is strong just like you are, he survived the battlefield, he can survive anything" Negan walks out to the platform and looks around and acknowledges Lilly sitting by her dead children's graves crying and he sadly looks at her. Lilly continues and she says "Dont worry, everything is going to be okay" Lilly brings her fingertips up to her lips and kisses her fingers and brings her fingers down to the ground and touches Ethan and Meghan's graves. Lilly stands up and wipes the dirt off of her ripped jeans and she wipes away her tears and says "Its going to be fine Sunshine, your big Sister will look after you. Look after each other" and Lilly let's out a shaky breath and walks away with her head down.

Jason is sitting on the edge of his bed holding a teddy rabbit and hes crying and Sally walks in the room and says "Its only me Jase" Jason wipes his stray tears away and says "He loved this rabbit" and Sally approaches the bed and sits beside Jason and sniffles "I can't believe this happened" Jason says "Well it has, I'm so sick of people dying around me!" Sally nods and says "I know Jase" Jason shakes his head and says "Nah first it was My baby Sister Meghan then it was Uncle Chrissy now its Ethan, it makes me wonder if I'm next or Mom or Grampa or the Luce and Jake" and Sally touches his forearm and says "That wont happen" Jason shakes his head and says "Someone has to pay" and Sally looks at Jason with tears in her ears and she lays her head against Jason's shoulder and she sniffles and Jason deeply sighs as he wraps his arm around Sally's shoulders and kisses her head.

Lilly walks inside The Infirmary and looks at Dr. Carson and then to Troy and her eyes lock on Troy. Dr. Carson approaches Lilly and she asks "How is he?" Dr. Carson glances at Troy and he says "I got the bullet out, the bullet was lodged in his chest cavity. He lost a lot of blood but he will live" and Lilly sighs in relief and asks "When will he wake up?" Dr. Carson says "He should wake up any time now, he's a survivor" and Lilly nods and Dr. Carson says "but he will have to stay in the bed for at least a week" Lilly asks in concern "but you said hes alive? Troy's out of the woods right?" Dr. Carson sympathetically looks at Lilly and says "Yes, he survived the gunshot wound but as I said before Lilly, the bullet hit his chest cavity one inch to the left and there would be no hope as it wouldve killed him. Its will take him a while for him to get himself back on his feet" and Lilly looks at Troy and says "Go, I want to be alone with him" Dr. Carson nods and walks past Lilly and out of the infirmary.

Negan is sitting at the meeting table and tears falls down his cheeks as he remembers Ethan when Sally walks in the room and says "Oh sorry I'm looking for Lilly" and Negan sniffles and wipes his tears and sits forward and clears his throat and says "She's with Troy..I got people watching her. You're Sally arent you?" Sally nods and Negan wiggles his fingers motioning Sally to come closer and says "Come and take a seat and shut the door" and Sally nods as she obeys his orders and she walks inside the meeting room and closes the door behind her and approaches the long table and sits beside Negan, sitting on Lilly's usual seat. Negan softly smiles and asks "Do you know who I am?" Sally nods and says "You're Negan...the leader" and Negan bites his bottom lip and says "Yes I am but I'm also Lilly's Dad and Jason and Meghan and Ethan and Lucy and Jacob's Granddad which makes me your Granddad" Sally looks at Negan and Negan says "I heard about what you went through and I'm sorry that happened to you. But from now on you're a Trainor which makes you family..My Family and you need anything I'll be here" and Sally smiles and nods and says "Okay Negan thank you" Sally pauses as she looks down to her hands and says "I miss him" and Negan nods and says "Me too Sweetheart".

Lilly wipes her tears away as she says as she interwines her hand around Troy's hand and she says "I'm so sorry this happened, I wish it was me who was laying there instead you. You dont deserve this shit, our marriage our whole relationship ever since we laid eyes on each other it's been one fucking rollercoaster. We've had our ups and downs but I love you Baby I swear I do, your the only man that treated me like a queen. I'm sorry for Ethan, after you got shot and you were bleeding out and dying on the floor a part of me was on that floor with you, Ethan didn't make it, he - he's dead. I buried him beside to Meghan, I just dont know what to do anymore but I can't do this alone. When you wake up and you want to end it and you want nothing more to do with me I'll understand...I'm toxic" and she sniffles as she wipes her eyes and Troy squeezes Lilly's hand and she looks at their hands and she looks to Troy who's eyes are open and he looks at Lilly with red rimmed eyes.
