Chapter 1

Narrator's POV

"Wow, I don't know what to say," Xander does his best to take everything in, "Then what happened?"

Jungkook stops cleaning the guitar. Y/N looks up at Xander. "We saved her."

The atmosphere gets heavy as he takes in what they did. He sighs as he wipes his face. Jungkook looks at the guitar to see if it remains dirty.

"Let's head back now," Xander says.

"Right, its getting late." She states as she gets up and stretches.

The three of them log themselves out and get on their horses.

"The sun is about to set, let's hurry." Jungkook points out.

They ride in silence until Xander speaks up. "What does she know?" Y/N sighs and looks around, not being able to look him in the eyes.

"That her immunity means nothing."

They make it back to Jackson. "Hey Steve," Xander says as he gives the reins of the horses to the said man. 

"Glad you guys came back in one piece," Steve says as he takes the reins. 

"Can't get rid of me that easily." Xander looks over at Y/N and Jungkook. "Well, I can't say much about your choices. But I can promise you this. I will take this to the grave."

"Thank," Jungkook says as he takes the guitar and leaves with Y/N. 

"Imma head over to and check up on Ellie," Y/N smiles at Jungkook. 

"Okay, just don't push her. She seems a b-"

Jungkook stops her and smiles, "Don't worry, I got this." He hugs Y/N. "You worry too much. Trust me, now go home and rest up." He pulls away and looks at her. 

She smiles and whispers an 'okay' before leaving.

Jungkook knocks on the shed door, waiting for a response. He knocks again until he decides to let himself in. When he does he sees Ellie, sitting at her desk drawing once again. A habit she has recently picked up. He walks over to her and notices she has headphones on. A small smile falls on his face but drops again. 

He nudges on her chair causing her to freak out and turn around. "What the-" She notices Jungkook and pulls out her headphones. 

She closes her notebook and stands up. 

Seemingly a bit uncomfortable she ask, "So, what are you doing here?"

Jungkook scratches the back of his head. "Um, well I heard that you have been doing great during your paroles and have been helping out around here." He says as he looks around the shed, the place Ellie calls home. 

"JK, I have an early shift tomorrow so I need to sleep." A rush of wanting to end their interaction fills Ellie. 

"Hold on, just wait right here, I have something," Jungkook panics and rushes out of the shed, leaving Ellie alone once more. Ellie lets a sigh out and kicks the floor as she waits for Jungkook.
