Chapter 9

Narrator's POV

Seattle Day 2

Ellie wakes up, noticing she is alone in the theater room. She heads out of the room and back to the entrance. "Dina?" She speaks out noticing Dina is no longer on the couch. Ellie's heart rate begins to pick up as worry fills her.  

Suddenly Ellie hears a faint sound upstairs. She follows the noise into the radio room she was in with Y/N. Once she reaches the door she hears Dina puking. Ellie opens the door to reveal a vomiting Dina and Seokjin rubbing her back. 

"Hey," Ellie says as Dina catches her breath. 

"How hot do I look right now?"

"Pretty hot," Ellie says in a joking manner. Dina sits back on the floor in front of a map as the radio plays in the background with random voices and static. 

"Where're the others?" Ellie asks as she sits on the floor in front of the two. 

"Well," Seokjin starts, "Y/N got up perhaps 10 minutes before you and is now having a serious talk with Hoseok and Yoongi. I got out of it to watch Dina."

Ellie looks up from the map and gives Seokjin a questionable look. 

"Talk about what?"

"Not sure, perhaps about the journey and what our next plan is. Or about Yoongi's attitude towards you yesterday. If it is about the latter then Hoseok is probably there is make sure a fight doesn't break out. You know how Y/N gets when it comes to you. It's like she has the maternal instinct with you."

Ellie lets out a scoff while a faint smile forms on her face. 

"Ellie, everything Y/N has done was out of the love she has for you. We all noticed how you treat Y/N and Jungkook. Understand where they are coming from."

Ellie stays quiet and looks over at Dina. 

"So what is all of this?" 

"A map of Seattle. Once Jin and I got the radio to work we have been tracking the WLFs. They found the mess we make at the school."

"Good."

"This guy," Seokjin picks up the picture of Owen, "went AWOL. Not sure what happened to him yet."

"Perhaps Namjoon and Taehyung got to him."

"Maybe," Dina says. "We still don't have anything on Abby."

A lady on the radio begins to speak. "Unit Romeo, you are requested on site two. Repeat, you are requested on site two. Confirm." 

"So the numbers are locations," Seokjin states. "The TV station we were at is Six. A lot of chatter is coming out of Two, so we think that Two might be their home base."

Dina lets out a groan as she holds her stomach. Ellie scoots over to her and starts rubbing Dina's back. 

"That helps."

"I might have some food in my backpack. I'll go check." Seokjin gets up and leaves. 

"Look about last night...last night was stupid," Ellie whispers out as Dina puts a hand on Ellie. 

"Yeah." She gives a smile as she forgives Ellie's outburst last night. 

"Casualties reported in Fourteen. All available units report. Over." 

"This is site Thirteen. Unit Lima nearby. How many scars you got. Over." 

"Negative on scars. Lone male trespasser. Armed. Over."
