After your shift was finished, you went to the table where Shawn was still patiently waiting.

"So what did you want to talk about?" You asked.

"Can we go somewhere private? I never know when there's paparazzi around." He said.

"Sure." You followed him to his car.

"So..."

"How are you doing?" He asked.

"Fine. What did you really want to talk about?" You questioned.

"I want to talk about us. I miss us Y/N." He took off his sunglasses. "I rarely get any sleep and if I do it's by crying myself to sleep. I'm not proud of it. I miss you so much. I can't live without you. Do you know how many times I had to stop myself from picking up the phone and calling you. But I wanted to respect your words so I didn't. I did somethings I'm not so proud of-"

"Shawn Peter Raul Mendes if you did drugs I promise you I'll cut your-"

He laughed. "Calm down I didn't do any drugs. I- I slept around but only for like the first few weeks."

He groaned. "I probably disgust you I know I feel disgusted by myself. I'm sorry, I didn't know how to cope with the heartbreak I was feeling at the time. But then I just ignored the rest of the world and started making songs. A lot of songs about how my heart felt so broken."

"Wow... I don't know what to say." You said.

"You don't have to say anything, I just want someone to tell all of this to."

"Y/N I miss you a lot please just give me a second chance. I promise I'll make it better this time. I'll tell you to do anything to be with you again."

Oh my god, he doesn't know what he does to me. There's no way I can say no to that. You thought.

"Fine but please don't break my heart."

"I wouldn't dare." He said.

"Good." You took his face in between your palms. "Shawn do you even eat?"

"Uh... sometimes when I remember." He smiled sheepishly.

"Oh my god, Shawn! When you remember? There are billions of people who struggle to eat every day and you can buy as much food as you want and you're telling me that you forgot."

"I'm sorry." He said.

"Don't apologize. 'S not your fault." You said feeling bad. "Now let's get you something to eat."

After getting some food at the diner you went to Shawn's condo.

It didn't look different except for the messiness of it. That didn't surprise you because when you were together you usually did the cleaning.

"So what are we doing here?" You asked.

"Something." He replied.

"What is this something?"

"I don't know. I thought you would." He confessed chuckling.

"Let's talk." You said.

"We seem to be doing a lot of talking."

"Yea." You laughed.

"So talk about what?" He asked.

"Us. What are we? Friends? More than friends?"

"Well what do you want us to be?" He asked while moving closer to you.

"More than friends definitely," You replied.

He was now less than an inch away from your face.

"Yeah, me too."

Then he softly placed his lips on yours. You had missed this. You missed the way his lips felt on yours. You missed his delicious chocolate taste.

You kissed him back putting as much passion as you possibly could into it.

You wrapped your arms around his neck trying to bring him impossibly closer to you. He groaned and wrapped his arms around your waist.

You ran your hands through his hair. It felt so soft.

Then you felt his teeth nibbling at your lower lip and his tongue swiped across your lip asking for entrance. You obliged opening your mouth a little bit but just enough for his tongue to fit in and battle yours for dominance.

you pulled away taking a deep breath. You wanted it to last longer but of course, you needed to breathe.

"So Y/N," he smirked, "Would you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

You nodded. "Of course."

"Good because I need more kisses."

You laughed. Of course, he did.

"That's all you're using me for?" You joked.

"Well yeah. What other reason is there?" He said going along with your joke.

"I don't know maybe because you love me?" You said.

"I do. I love you so much, princess. Nobody could compare to you." He said seriously.

You blushed. "I love you too."
