17- First Date

You smoothened your dress feeling nervous as you waited for Shawn to come to pick you up. It was your first date and you couldn't be more excited, although you were also nervous.

The doorbell rang and you quickly went to open it. There stood Shawn, he was wearing a tuxedo and his hair was gelled back and he wore that perfect smile of his. In conclusion, he looked absolutely handsome.

"Wow," he breathed, basically checking you out.

"Wow." you echoed.

"You look absolutely gorgeous." He said.

"You too," You replied. "I mean you look good too not gorgeous well I mean you do look gorgeous but-"

"It's alright, I understand what you mean," he said, laughing a little.

"Right."

"You ready to go?" He asked and you nodded.

He intertwined your hands and led you to his car where he opened the door for you and you got in, thanking him for his gentlemanly actions.

During the car ride to whatever fancy restaurant he picked you both had a lovely conversation. When you arrived he opened the door for you and led you towards the restaurant.

You were both led to your reserved seats and ordered your dinner while making small talk.

"So, if you could hop on a plane right now, where would you go?" He asked.

"Well, it's a tie between Amsterdam and Italy." 

"Really, why?"

"I really want to see the canals in Amsterdam and I want to go to Rome, Venice, and Milan," I replied. "What about you?"

"I would say... Greece because of the Parthenon."

"Wow, I would have never thought about that. Now that's on my list."

"Glad to be of service," he laughed.

"I had a lot of fun today, Shawn. Thank you." You said as he dropped you off.

"I had a lot of fun also, I hope there'll be a second date." he smiled. 

"Me too," You said, as he walked you towards your door.

"You know," He smirked, "This is the part where we kiss."

"Oh really." You said.

He nodded and you stood on your tiptoes and pressed your lips to his. He kissed you back and you couldn't help but smile into the kiss. You finally had to pull away due to loss of air.

"I'll see you later." You smiled, walking in your home.

"See ya." He smiled.
