32- Roadtrip

"Do you have everything?" You asked as Shawn put the basket with your lunch in the trunk.

"Yeah, I just need to get the water bottles for the ride," he said, reaching into the basket to take out two bottles.

You were having a road trip since you had nothing better to do. There was no destination, it was just to relax while having a change of scenery.

Shawn helped you into the passenger seat since your baby bump was getting quite big even though you weren't due for another 3 months but that was because of the twins. You had gone to your doctor explaining that your bump was way bigger than the size in the book you got and had found out you were having twins. So like the spontaneous people you were, you decided not to know the gender until birth.

Shawn started driving and since you were in control of the radio you started playing one direction and their solo songs.

You saw him shake his head from the corner of your eye but a smile was on his face nonetheless.

"What? Don't judge me because I love one direction," You said.

"I'm not," he said, still smiling.

You rolled your eyes and smiled then went back to jamming out like you were before.

"Wanna stop for some lunch?" Shawn asked, slowing down the car at the side of the road.

You nodded.

Then for the next hour or so you both ate and laughed at the silly jokes you made.

He drove along the deserted high way as you both hopped along to the music playing from the radio.

Soon it started getting dark so he suggested it was time to go home. You reluctantly agreed and he drove back home.

"Well, that's quite an adventure," you snickered.

You both barely did anything except stay in the car and eat but you still had the best time.

"Shush! I thought it would be nice." He said.

"It was, don't worry," you said, kissing his lips softly.
