You kept receiving many notifications from your social media and you finally decided to check them. It was a post from one of Shawn's fans. it was a picture of you and it wasn't the most flattering one either. It was captioned 'How can Shawn date her? She's ugly and fat! He would be better with me. I feel bad for him🤢.' 

You felt sick to your stomach, it was true that you weren't a model or someone famous and beautiful like celebrities usually dated but it really hurt that his fans were calling you out because you weren't perfect. You knew Shawn could date anyone he wanted to date, so that made you wonder why he was even dating you.

"Hey honey, how are you?" Shawn asked, walking into your shared room.

"Why are you dating me?" You asked.

"What do you mean?" He asked, confused. "I'm dating you because I love you."

"But-but why? I'm not beautiful like the other girls that you could have." You questioned.

"What brought this on?" He asked.

You showed him the post and he read the caption. You could see him getting furious.

"Princess, you're not ugly or fat or anything that you read ok? You're beautiful, you're perfect and it's their loss if they can't see that. They aren't true fans if they can't support the woman I love, they should be happy or me instead of putting you down." he said, hugging you. "Please don't let them get to you, ok?"

You nodded, feeling tears prick from the corner of your eyes.

"And please don't cry, ok angel?" He said, wiping the tears away.

"Thank you, Shawn, you always know how to make me feel better."

"Of course, I love you."

"I love you too."

"Now, can you hand me my phone?" He asked and I gave it to him.

He started typing something furiously then showed me his phone. "Is this okay?"

He had chosen a recent picture of us cuddling and had captioned it 'Hey guys, I've noticed that you've all been giving Y/N a lot of hate and I really don't appreciate it. She's the love of my life and she makes me happy so I would appreciate if you kept the negative thoughts to yourself. It makes her feel bad about herself and it also makes her sad and when she's sad I'm sad so please stop hating on her. Thank you, I love you all -Shawn' 

You looked up at him. "Oh my gosh, thank you, Shawn."

"Of course, you don't even have to ask. Any hater is no fan of mine." he kissed my forehead.

"Thank you, I love you."
