35- Sunrise

You groaned as you climbed higher on the mountain. Shawn had woken you up early so you could both watch the sunrise but you were still tired.

"How much longer?" You asked.

"Almost there," he said just like he had the other seven times you asked.

You glared at the back of his head for waking you up even though you had both agreed to it the day before.

Finally you arrived at the top and spread a blanket on the floor so you could sit down.

"Told you we were there soon," He said with a smile. "And we have a few minutes to spare!"

"It's so cold!" You groaned, shuffling closer to him under the blanket.

"Don't worry, when the sun comes up it'll get warmer," he reminded you, wrapping an arm around you and kissing your forehead.

Then the sky started to change to a beautiful orange color as the sun started to rise.

"Oh my god, it's gorgeous!" You exclaimed and Shawn nodded in agreement.

"It was definitely worth the wait," he murmured, mesmerized by the beauty.

You took turns taking pictures of each other and the sky in order to remember this moment.

And with smiles on your faces you began the journey down the mountain.
