For Zuko, days after fight with Alison were disaster. He knew how good she is and that he need her, but her ego was way too big. Zuko expected her to apologies, or at least start talking with him again, but that didn't happened. She knew exactly what she was doing - Alison take his screw under her wing.
She started spending days with them, talking with them all day. She even get along with his uncle, both of them enjoying in equal Pai Sho games. She was good at everything and he hated it.
On the other side, Lyra had a plan. She wouldn't join anyone on ship, but when someone come, she would follow. Zhao was going after Aang, and if he fails, Ozai would find other man. In any way, she had someone to follow.
Today was one more night with instruments, but Lyra had bad feeling about it. She didn't feel like singing or playing any instrument, so she enjoyed in her room. Usually when she was alone flashbacks come to her head, remembering her of her old life.

Lyra was eleven and she was waiting for her parents in western air temple. Lemurs and Sky Bisons were everywhere around her, along with kids. She saw tall man in elegant black kimono with orange details, followed by woman in long orange dress. Her parents were definition of grace and perfection - on first look, there was nothing wrong with them.
'You have to behave properly in Palace. It's fire lord Sozin's birthday, all important people would be there. We don't need--' he said strictly but stopped after that. She knew exactly what he was going to say, so she finished sentence.
'--insane princess.' Lyra replied in monotone tone, but then her father noticed something. Her right arm wasn't covered, and blue arrow was in first view.
'Go and change, now! I can't believe you didn't covered it, and even accept it! You are princess, you should behave.' he said in one breath, sounding as angry as always. Her mother placed hand on his shoulder, pulling him back.
'We have no time, dear. Let's go, Hulio is waiting.' she said calmly, pointing at her father's flying bison.
When royal family went to fire nation, everything seemd more forced. People were celebrating Sozin's birthday in different ways, but only few of them were heading towards Palace.
When they entered inside, one of servants leaded them towards Sozin's chamber for celebrations. As they stood in front the door, older man showed up. Sozin looked like always, acting gently but monster was easy seen by Lyra.
