Colby and I were in my room, watching a movie. He wanted to hangout after I got off so I told him to meet me there.

We were watching The Purge, it's one of my favorites. "You know what I just realized?" Colby turned to me.

I raised an eyebrow towards him. "What?" I ask. "We've been hanging out for month." I kissed him a month ago?

It feels like I've known him since forever. "You've been keeping track?" I ask jokingly.

He rolled his eyes as he shook his head. "You're a punk, you know?" He told me.

"Yeah, what are you gonna do about it?" He sat up and fully turned to me. I paused the movie as I got into his face.

He looked at my eyes, then looked at my lips, then back up. "I won't do anything until you do anything first." I tried not to laugh.

But I couldn't help but laugh. His lips curved up as he started to laugh along.

"You're an idiot, Colby." I laugh at him. His face then softened up.

"Can I play with your hair?" He asked randomly. I shrug as turn the movie back on.

I sit in front of him as I watch the movie. He starts to run his fingers through my black and blue hair. It gave me goosebumps.

"You have really pretty hair." He complimented. I smiled a little.

"Thanks, Colbs." I thank him. He played with my hair for awhile.

But I started yawning. "You tired?" He asked, instantly stopping. "Just a little." I turn to look at him.

I could tell he was thinking about something. "I can let you get some rest." He stood up as he acted like he was gonna leave.

Before he started to put some shoes on, I stopped him. "You should stay, it's fine." I tell him.

He started to pout, so this wasn't good. "I would but I have plans with Brennen early tomorrow." He tells me as I pout.

I sigh as he continues to put his shoes on. "I'll still text you tomorrow, don't worry." That made me smile.

He stood up and looked around for a second. He came over to me as I stood up from my bed. We hugged each other goodbye.

"Don't leave me hanging tomorrow." I say into his chest. I take his scent in while I can.

"You know I'll text you. But I'll come back over whenever you get off work." He whispered in my ear.

He rubbed my back and it made me feel so calm. "Sounds good to me." I tell him. "Okay, be safe." He then kissed my forehead as he backed away.

It made my heart skip a beat. "Drive home safe. Call me." I tell him as he nodded his head. "Bye, Colbs." I smile at him.

He turns to me before walking out. "Bye, Eden." I sigh as he walks out. I plop myself on my bed as I start to think.

Colby is seriously the sweetest person. He didn't even have to come by tonight, but he said he really wanted to see me.

He's also the biggest goofball I know. Last night, he spent ten minutes trying to lick his elbow. It was the funniest thing.

I wonder what would've happened if I never kissed him. If Blair had never dared me to kiss a stranger. I'm so happy I took the dare.

Then I wouldn't have met Colby. I stood up to get a drink of water.

When I walked down the steps, I saw Casey and Kevin sitting on the couch. "Shouldn't you be in bed?" Kevin asked with his sassy attitude.

I walk past them and roll my eyes. "You're not my dad." I joke along with him. I grab a water bottle, walking back towards them.

I had a better look at them. I could see his arm wrapped around the back of the couch, Casey cuddled up with him.

"Hey! Don't use that attitude with me, missy!" Kevin's voice rose but not in a bad way. In a jokingly way.

Casey was laughing as I flipped him off. "That's it! You're grounded! Go to your room!" Kevin yelled as I laughed a little.

He had this father figure persona which I loved about him. "Jokes on you, I'm already on my way." They busted out laughing when I walked away.

I close my door as I turn my light out. I'm honestly so wore out from work and hanging out with Colby.

I quickly change into Colby's sweatshirt and my shorts. Right as I finished, Colby started FaceTiming me.

I made sure I looked good, and then I answered it. "Hey, I'm home. Is that my sweatshirt?" He asked as I blushed a little.

"Yeah, it's comfy." I shrug towards him. He smiled a little. "Well, it looks good on you." I blushed.

"So, what are you and Brennen doing tomorrow?" I ask, genuinely curious of what was going on.

He thought about it for a second. "I think we were gonna go to his place and chill. I miss his dog." He admitted.

I didn't know Brennen had a dog. I wouldn't have pictured it. "You should steal him." His jaw dropped when I had said that.

"That's such a good idea!" He exclaimed. I laughed as he started rambling. He was telling me his heist plan for when he steals the dog.

"Now, will I be the getaway driver?" I ask wondering. "Is that even a question?" I guess that was a yes.

He sighed as he looked at his clock. "I better get some sleep." I pout as he did the same.

"Yeah, you better get some beauty rest. You need it." I joke. He started fake crying as I laughed at him.

"You're such a bully! I'm gonna go cry now." He tells me. We say our goodbyes as we hang up.

I turn on Netflix so I could watch something before I slept. But my mind kept going to Colby.

I think I'm catching feelings for him.
