Chapter Twenty

Is this place even home anymore? It's just a building I reside in. In this moment, I'm quite happy that the house Anthony and I shared was large, I had the space away from him. "You shouldn't stay there, I told you come stay with me" Arianna voice boomed  through the speakers. "I had to Ari, He's still my husband.....he had already ordered them that no one should discharge me without his consent." She sigh knowing Anthony's power. "You shouldn't have ever gotten involved with him, I told you th--"  "I get it arianna, you were fucking right. I don't need to always hear it."  "Sorry Rose, it's just, it makes me so upset that this could've been prevented." Releasing a sigh, I replied. "Yeah well, it happened. I guess everything happens for a reason. I'll call you later." Without hearing a reply I hung up and laid down. At this moment, I didn't want to be bothered by anyone.

"Rosette, I bought you some food. Here." The voice of Anthony roared from behind the door. Slowly, I made my way to the bedroom door and unlocked it. He passed me the food and I eyed it. "I know you think I poisoned it but I didn't, I don't want you dead....you're still my wife" I grabbed it after my stomach grumbled at the delicious scene of the fettuccine. "I still know your favorites." He mumbled as he enter the room as I opened the plate observing it for a moment.

"I'm sorry..." he commented as I ate, swallowing the bite that I took my attention stayed on the pasta. "You know I have anger problem Rose, seeing you with that nigga...it-it made me snap. He's messing with me, with us." My thoughts were jumbled as I look for words to express my emotions. "We've been together from high school Rose, you don't think this hurts me? I get it, you still wanted revenge from when I cheated. You did it, now let's put the past behind us, renew our vows and start a family. You always wanted children--" "And you didnt" I cut him off.

He sat back as he was cut off guard with the calm response. "Where is this coming from?" I stared at him as I covered the food. "I love you, Rosette." I looked away from him and he scoot a bit closer. "Rose..."  "you don't love me Anthony." I stared in his eyes. "If you loved me, I wouldn't.....we wouldn't be in this position right now."  "Rose, don't fucking give me that. We are in this position because you began messing with that chinese nigga."  "He's Korean, you racist bitch." Anthony kissed his teeth as he stood up from his seated position.

"I could've died if jaebeom didn't come back that night. Who's to say you won't do it again and succeed. That's not love, Anthony" I watched as his fist clenched and prepare myself for defense. However, he just walked away....That's new.

Sleeping during the day is a curse because at night it's hard to do the same. Reading a book was relaxing for me; Me, my glasses, a book and a drink is my ideal relaxation time but it was interrupted by my phone blowing up. It was doing that all day since Anthony left but now it has become unbearable. Just as I was about to check social media, calls from jaebeom and Arianna came through knocking each other out." Jaebeom name suddenly popped up again and I answered.

"Hello?" 

"Rose, we have a problem."

"What's wrong?" 

"Your husband"

Jaebeom scoffed as he spoke furthermore on the situation at hand.

"News broke about the fight and sometime today he put out a statement about our affair with picture proof. He also stated that your injuries came from me because you wanted him back and I've moved onto seulgi due to that results. "

Silence was a frequent volume for Rose these days. She remain speechless for the situation she felt that she's created.

"I'm sorry....." she whispered, it was the only thing she felt like she could've said.
