After I collect more water, rewrap my leg, and check on Toothless's wing, I think back to the nightmare I had. Astrid surely knows I didn't leave her on purpose. Right? I know by now she probably has the whole village out looking for me. The only problem is that I didn't tell her which direction I was flying in. She has no idea where I was planning on going. Also, I have no clue where I'm at. The storm could have turned us in another direction. This island could be barbaric for all I know. If we get attacked, we can't run because Toothless can't fly. He can get up and slowly walk around but his injured wing drags behind him. He has his plasma blasts and I have my fire sword, but the odds of us winning against a viking attack or even a dragon attack are very slim.
I hear a deep boom in the distance and look to the sky. Deep black clouds are starting to roll in just like the ones before we crashed here. I hear more thunder in the distance. We better find shelter before this storm hits.
"Come on Toothless. We need to find shelter." He gets up in reply and I collect our objects and set them in the saddle. Then I secure my canes to the side of the saddle with some vines and slowly leap up onto Toothless's back. Toothless is on high alert. I wrap my hand around the handle of my sword and rest my arm on my lap. Toothless wobbles into the woods and I pray to the gods that we'll find shelter before the storm finds us.
