Chapter Seven: To Think I Had Him

The rain held up for almost a week, Larissa was ready to gouge her eyes out with a spoon, Larissa is our resident witch, water weakens a witches power, and with that lot of rouges lurking around we didn't want her to risk it. But by some sort of luck on Monday morning, the clouds split and all traces of rain except for the excessive overgrowth of our front lawn and some muddy puddles, where gone .

Larissa had woken me up at five am saying 'I am going home to my children and husband, or I will, set you on fire' I nodded a fair enough leaving my lips before I rolled back over and closed my eyes, only to get another hour and a half of sleep before a peculiarly large baby landed on my stomach.

"Samuel Melcast! Run like the wind or eat the floor boards your choice boy" I felt him scramble but grabbed his foot he landed across the bed his head hanging off the edge small screams erupting from him as I tickled his sides, I sat up and noticed a sliver of exposed stomach, taking a deep breath I pushed my face in and blew, the resounding sound it created was that of a fart and small shock waves across his little tummy, an onslaught of giggles and squeals filled the room as I continued my assault on his sides and tummy till I herd it rumble.

"Ree I'm hungry" he giggled as I pushed him off of me, only to find him fully dressed, I nudged him out of my room with promises I would only take a second, got changed and walked down into the kitchen, only to find a plate of sandwiches and two packed lunches in the fridge, aww she does care.

"Well dig in, we have half an hour"

We got to the school and I was assaulted with the excessive amount of wolves hanging around, and one thought crossed my mind, and it wasn't mine, it was Orions'

~it's not enough~ I was brought out of my thoughts by a yell, that was rather familiar, I frowned my mind not completely on what was happening, it wasn't until I was crushed to somebodies chest that I focused on my surroundings

"Ree Ree, your home!!" I looked up and was met with Jonathan's brilliant green eyes, I blinked a few times before my arms wrapped around him and my fave fell into the crook of his neck, I wrapped my legs around his stomach and started crying

"I thought they killed you, when I ran I couldn't find you, you said you where distracting them, I, I had to keep Samy safe, I... I am so sorry" he hugged me tighter and I heard him start hushing me, then I heard another deep yell

"Jonathan, I really hope you aren't  hurting an innocent, not in front of the mutts, I thought we where better than this" I looked up at him tears forgotten, I had a raised eyebrow, as I took a deep breath,

"You little shit Jonathan, why didn't you tell me" I dropped from his grip ducking around his arms that reached to pull me back and caught his wrist "that's mean, you could have at least tried to call, it's always open to you" I tapped the side of my head and made my way over to the other man child standing near the gate, his face held an almost curious expression

"Ree Ree, be careful please" I smiled sweetly at Jonathan

"When am I not" I heard him groan as I walked over to his beloved and seised his wrist looking at the mark there "you sly little ship, I'm gonna get you for that" I turned around and smiled, mouthing 'I bet he scares easy' Jonathan's face turned to one of horror

"Lillare DON'T YOU DARE" I smiled as I pounced on top of the other boy effectively knocking him off his feet

"Ahh, Babe help. SHES GOING TO EAT MY FACE, I THOUGHT YOU SAID SHE WAS NICE AND UNDERSTANDING" I let out a laugh as I slipped my arms around him pulling him into a hug

"TOLD YOU" my voice dropped to a whisper as I leaned down next to his ear "hurt him, and the first person I kill, will be you, vamp or not" yes, you heard right Jonathan is a vampire, his beloved is also a vampire, my mother took Jonathan in after he saved me from a vampire with blood lust, he is like my big brother, but he hid being gay very well.

It was the moment I walked back over to Jonathan that I heard the growl, it echoed through the area, silencing everyone, my body going tense. I felt Jonathan still beside me the arm that was around me wrapping around my hand and bearing my burned wrist to him

"You have a soul link, and he hasn't been faithful, Lillare, you shouldn't be here, being within close proximity, makes the pain visible, with burns to the viable bond and surrounding skin" I sighed and shrugged, walking into the building, my shoulders slumping forwards, I knew this was going to happen. I was already half way down the hall a vampire on both sides of me when a hand caught my wrist

"It's me, Orion, I swear, I didn't know that would happen, I tried to stop him, but he took a shot of silver, to subdue my ability to control him, I swear, I want you" I shook my head and pulled my arm from his grasp

"If he doesn't want me it's not worth it, but you both have to reject me, or it's going to hurt me more when I try to move on" he growled, I saw the swirling black return to Aiden's blue

"Fine, I Aiden Marcole, Young alpha of the Calderon pack Rejects you, Lillare as my mate and Luna" I felt the burn in my wrist, and arms support my body, I saw Aiden's eyes turn black again and I sighed

"Orion, don't put him through this, just accept it, move on" he whimpered, he walked over and took my hand kissing my wrist as I final burst of pain ran through my whole arm, my heart feeling like it burned

"Sebastian, how do I help her, please" I saw Aiden walking away, heard Jonathan talking to the boy but I simply turned around and kept walking, burning tendrils of pain wrapping around every bone in my body, I will feel pain from everything he does, until Orion accepts the rejection, he can't fool me, he can't do it, unless Aiden forces him to.
