I woke up and blinked in the unfamiliar room. A smile broke on my lips as I realised I was back. I sat up and checked on Min Gyu beside me, peacefully asleep.

I quietly got out of bed and went to the balcony. It was early morning in Seoul and the sun wasn't up yet. I felt fresh. The weather was cold and glum. I went back in and took my phone out of the charger. I checked it and found several missed calls from Jin.

I walked to the kitchen and drank some water.
"Eomma..." Min Gyu walked out of the room, rubbing his eyes.
"Oh, you are up? It's still early, son." I said and walked to him.
"Eomma, I had a bad dream." He said and started to cry.
"Omo." I took him in my arms and carried him back to the room.
"Hush...dont cry. It was just a bad dream. Hush..." I said.
"I want Jin appa, now." He said.
"No son. It's still early. He is taking rest." I said.
"Eomma, please. I really need Jin appa now. Eomma..." he sobbed bitterly.
My heart ached. But it was too early to call Jin.
I stayed silent and waited for him to stop crying but he didnt stop and continued to cry, telling he wanted Jin.
I sighed and decided to call Jin.

"Hello?" Jin picked up in a sleepy voice.
"Umm...Jin-ssi?" I asked hesitantly.
"Who is this?" He asked.
"Uh, Ji Hwa."
He was silent for a moment and I heard some shuffling noises.
"Ji Hwa-ssi, is everything alright? It is very early now. What happened?" I could see his sleep was all gone.
"Um..I am really sorry to disturb you but Min Gyu woke up because of a bad dream and he is insisting for you." I said.
"Bad dream? About what?"
"He isn't telling me."
"Wait, I will be there in no minute." He said and hanged up.

I was surprised he was ready to come for Min Gyu. I felt bad for disturbing him. I went back to my son.
"Stop crying, Jin ahjussi is on his way." I said.
He hugged me and buried his face on my chest. He stopped crying but didnt utter a single word.
After a few minutes, the doorbell rang.
"Adeur, I think Jin ahjussi is here. Let me go and open the door." I said.
He pulled away slowly.
I smiled at his flushed face and went to open the door.

Jin was standing there, looking impatient. I could see he came in a rush as he was still in his pink sleeping carrot printed pajamas.
"What happened?" He asked as he entered in.
I shrugged. "I dont know. He said it was a bad dream. Jin-ssi,  I am so sorry to disturb your sleep." I said and bit my lip.
He smiled and patted my shoulder. "Its okay. Where is he?"

"Appa." Min Gyu jumped out of bed and hugged Jin as Jin walked in the room.
"Aigoo, what did you dream about to get so scared huh?" Jin asked and picked Min Gyu in his arms.
"Appa, it was a very bad dream and when I woke up, eomma was not there."
Jin looked at me.
"I woke up early. I was in the kitchen." I said.
"Its okay, son. You know what? You are a real man. Dont get scared of bad dreams. Your appa is here to protect you now. Go back to sleep." Jin smiled.
Min Gyu pouted. "If you sleep with me." He said.
Jin looked at me.
I shrugged. "You can rest here of  course,  if you dont mind." I said.
Jin grinned and got on the bed with Min Gyu.
"Eomma, come on join us." Min Gyu said.
I held my breath.
"N-no." I said.
Jin chuckled. "Its okay, you can join."
My face started to heat up.
"Eomma! Please." My little devil pleaded.

I thought for a moment and I dont know what came to my mind to come to that conclusion to get in bed with them. I couldn't look at Jin as I knew he was looking at me.
"Okay, so tell me about your dream." Jin said.
Min Gyu sighed. "I dont know what it was. There was a big monster trying to eat all of us. We tried to run and succeeded to hide. Then you went away to get some food but...the monster caught you and I woke up." He started to cry again and hugged Jin tightly.
Jin and I bought laughed and our eyes met. The meeting of eyes turned into a stare and then into gaze. I just couldnt look away.
"Yah, my strong son. Dont cry." Jin said and looked away as it became too awkward and tense.

After a moment, Min Gyu fell asleep while Jin and I were still awake. The sky was becoming clearer and light was peeping in through the window.
"Jin-ssi,  take some rest here. You must have been so tired." I said.
He smiled. "Yeah. What about you?"
"I dont know. I just woke up early. The fatigue hasn't left my body."
He chuckled quietly. "You should sleep for longer too."
I smiled. "Yup. Goodnight then."
"Goodnight." He muttered.
I closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep and soon enough I was dreaming.

A dream where a man...a horribly familiar man walked in a white door with a smirk.
"How dare you run away from me? Why the hell do I have a son now? I dont want him. Get rid of him." He spoke bitterly.

I woke up with a gasp.
