Everything felt different the next day now that Yoongi was with me. Waking up next to him was a blessing I asked God all those years. But sadly we both had own own work. He would have a concert in the evening in Busan and was going to leave as soon as possible. I had to go to office. I didnt want to send my son to school yet.

"Hi..." Yoongi wrapped his arms around me as I was cooking breakfast in the kitchen.
His touch sent electricity all over my body. And my body automatically relaxed.
"Hey...I think it's better not to send Min Gyu to school today." I said.
He rested his chin on my shoulder and sighed. "I was thinking about it too actually."
"But I cant leave him here alone. And i cant ask Taehyung to come over. I still have things to explain to him."
He thought for a moment. "Should i take him with me? He can enjoy the concert." He suggested.
It clicked. Min Gyu loved Yoongi's songs.
"Yeah, sure. But please take care of him."
"I will." He kissed my neck.

"Eomma!" Min Gyu ran in the kitchen and Yoongi quickly moved away from me.
I flushed at the sight of my son. "Yes?"
"I am hungry." Hr pouted and ran to hug Yoongi.
"Hey, do you wanna watch appa's concert?" Yoongi asked.
Min Gyu looked up and smiled broadly. "Yes. Yes. Will you allow me without a ticket?"
We laughed.
"You will get the VVIP seat." Yoongi knelt and kissed his son's head.
I sighed.
Everything was just so perfect.

I couldn't concentrate on work. My mind was drifting towards Yoongi. I was in a good mood and felt like I was in love. Reading some romance fiction manuscripts, I found myself imagining Yoongi and me. Damn, it was getting harder for me to work. I missed him.

I got off work early. I had a lot of time in hand and decided to meet Jin. I called him.

"Ji Hwa-ssi?" He greeted.
"Uh...Jin-ssi, can we meet and talk for a while?" I asked, not beating around the bush.
He took a moment to answer. "Yrah sure. I am in my office. Should I come to meet you?"
"No. No. I just got off work. I will go." I said.
"Okay."
I hanged up.

On my way, I prepared myself to know the truth. If he really had a woman when he was with me...I had to stay calm. It was Jin after all, the man who decided to stay by my side even when i didnt need him. I owed him a lot. I couldn't thank him enough for being such a great father figure for Min Gyu.

As I took the elevator, my heart beat fastened and I realized how nervous I was. I took some deep breaths to calm down.

His secretary led me inside his office. I maintained a small smile as our eyes met. He stood up to greet me.

"Hi...sit on the sofa." He said and walked to me.
I sat down and he sat on the other set.
"Uh...actually I have a question to ask you." I began.
He nodded seriously, looking straight in my eyes. I grew nervous.
"Ask me." He urged.
"Answer me honestly please, Jin-ssi." I said.
"Of course I will."
I took a deep breath. "I want to know if you had any other woman when you were with me." I asked it out loud finally.
He looked a little surprised. "Did Yoongi tell you that?"
"Yoongi? He knew?" I asked.
He scowled. "Who told you that?"
"I found out by myself." I stated.
He blinked several times.
"Remember when you were back from the states and I was doing your laundry? I got a piece of paper from your paper. And it turns out...you spent a night with another woman." I bit on my lips.
He exhaled out loudly. "Ji Hwa-ssi, dont get me wrong but can I explain?"
I nodded, throat tight.
"Okay. Ten years. It has been ten years since we first met. I was...really crazy about you but I knew you wouldn't love me back. I...dated others. I thought I was in love but after every break up, i found myself coming back to you. I found myself believing that maybe one day you would be mine. I waited but I am a man after all. I made mistakes. Each time i thought you wouldn't be mine, i went to someone else. The girl i met that night is my last ex. I never expected you to come to me but you came, in an unexpected and sudden way. That day I was so happy. I was waiting for you for so long and you finally came to me. I broke up with her the same day you told you would marry me..." he stopped for a while, eyes clouding with memories.
I took a sharo breath in as I heard the last sentence. He was with someone else and I was the third wheel.

"I was so happy...so I decided to be with you. Min Gyu needed me and...I...just didnt want to tell you that I had someone else. I wanted you that badly. That night in the states, I was drunk and she called me to meet. I just went to meet her but ended up doing another mistake. I wanted to tell you but...I didnt want to hurt you. Everything was just so perfect. I am sorry, Ji Hwa-ssi. I am really really sorry." His eyes fell on the floor glumly.

Silence hovered over us. I finally started to understand him. Yes, I understood.

"Jin-ssi, when you like someone for a long time, liking them becomes a habit. And habits are hard to forget but never impossible. You liked me for a long time and maybe it just became a habit for you because I was always there infront of your eyes. I can understand what you have gone through and I appreciate that you wanted to be by my side. But Jin-ssi, you should do what you like. Be with the person who would love you like you. I am sorry that I failed to be that person. I really tried but I just couldn't. I...love Yoongi. And I...just want to be with him. I am sorry to hurt you this way." I said.
He nodded.

There was nothing more to say. We both were at fault for things that went wrong. But we had no reason to blame each other.
So I held out my hand to him. "Let's not be awkward with each other, okay? We can still be friends right?"
He looked up and smiled. "Yeh..." he shook my hand.
I exhaled out a deep sigh.
"And I am sorry I couldn't help much to find Min Gyu." He bit on his lips.
"He is okay. By the way, do you know detective Jimin?" I asked.
"Yeah...but I had no idea the kid Jk we met last time is an undercover police." He laughed lightly.
"Even me."
"I called detective Jimin yesterday and he told they found Min Gyu. I was so shocked to find out that Jk is the one who found him."
I chuckled.

And just like this, things were okay between Jin and me. Liking someone for a long time really becomes a habit.
