Sticks and stones never break my bones.
Echoing words and harsh tones.
Lost inside a sea of black.
I'm spinning in circles I've lost my track.
Isolation, rejection, depression too.
It's hard when the negative thoughts take over you.
It's dark, it's deep, it's closing in.
But then that light began to win.
Adrenaline is running through my veins.
Let go of the words, let go of the pain.
Listen to that voice talking to you.
We know we are worthy. We know that's true.
We've been waiting for our voice to ring out.
We're ready to scream out our message, to yell and shout.
This is the moment that took so long.
This is our moment. I Am Strong.
