(y/n) POV

"OK WHERE THE HELL AM I?!" I said, "Shut up, and sit still." a woman said coldly, "Answer the question!" I said, suddenly she slapped me, "YOU FOOLISH CHILD! YOU ATTEMPTED ONE OF ALCHEMY'S MORTAL SINS AND NOW YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO DEMAND ANYTHING OF ME!" She said, I just looked at her in fear, "Where are your parents?" She asked, "Who said I had any? I was forced to watch my mother die, so what was I supposed to do?!" I said, "Reminds me of two boys I knew." She said, "My name is Izumi Curtis. Now tell me did you learn anything from this?" She asked, "Yeah, that not even a philosopher stone can replace a soul." I said, "You're right. But I have to admit while foolish, I am impressed." She said, "Tell me did you see it?" She asked, "Yeah, I saw the truth." I said, suddenly she hugged me, "You poor child, come you will be staying with me." She said, "Don't I get a say in this?" I asked, "You lost the right to object the moment you told me about your mother." She said as she picked me up

Izumi POV

"Good night (y/n)." I said as I closed the door to (y/n)'s room, "Izumi." Sig said, "I know it goes against everything I stand for, but he's no better than I am. Yes, he committed a major taboo, but he's a child. A child who just lost his mother." I said, "What will you do?" He asked, "I'll train him. He's already a talented alchemist, and it's too late to stop him from doing something stupid, but maybe I can stop him from anything like what he's already done ever again." I said, "Are you sure this isn't because he's a child without a mother and you're a mother without a child?" He asked, "Honestly no. I'd like nothing more than to have the opportunity to be a mother again, but that's not for me to decide." I said as we went to our room.

(y/n) POV

"(y/n)." Mommy said as I slept, "MOMMY!" I said as I woke up and reached out with what remained of my right arm, "(Y/N)!" Izumi said as she ran into the room, "M...Mommy, w...where did my mommy go?" I asked, "It's alright (y/n) I'd be worried if something like this didn't happen." She said as she wiped the tears from my eyes, "(y/n) would you like me to train you to be an alchemist?" She asked, "How can I be an alchemist with one arm?!" I asked, "If you decide that you want to be an alchemist then I will pay for you to get automail. If not then nothing has to change." She said, "I'll do it! Whatever it takes." I said, "Verry well, get some rest you'll need it." She said before she left. "Roy Mustang, no matter how long it takes I will get stronger, and then whenever we next meet I will end your life." I said.
