Matt entered the code to open the gates of the base, allowing us to go into the forest.
Which I wasn't prepared for, as soon as the doors opened I felt like an icicle.
"Ehm Matt, don't want to ruin the plan but I'm not really in the right... attire, to face this kind of cold."
Somehow Matt had forgotten that fact when making his little scheme. "Well, uh, then I'll just have to carry you." Before I could reply, he scooped me up in his arms.
"You can't solve every problem by lifting me," I commented.
"Well, let's put that to the test shall we? Are you cold?"
  I shook my head.
"You no longer have to plow yourself a way through the snow wearing those pretty shoes, huh?"
I sighed, getting the point. "Okay... perhaps you're right."
"You're very stubborn." Matt tickled me by planting small kisses in the crook of my neck.
"You're to say." I smiled adoringly.

I had no idea where we were heading to, I saw nothing but forest and snow. I tried to find out what his plan was and gazed into the woods. That was, until I saw a weird, blue-ish atmosphere kind of thing.
And Matt was carrying me right through it.
I had to blink a couple of times to get used to the brilliant light, as Matt put me down.
We were in some kind of dome, a stone fountain in the middle, surrounded by the most beautiful and exotic flowers I had ever seen. When looking outside the dome I could still see the snowy forest, while inside this 'paradise' it was warm, there was even a clear sky, adorned by baby-blue.
"Wow... just wow." I admired the many flowers. I especially liked the blood-red roses. An elegant flower, but with a sharp touch, not everyone got to see its beauty from up close.
"This is a Jedi related Force trick. Jedi's usually create these domes to make a calm place for meditating and connecting with the Force. I designed it." Matt explained, while I took place on the cold stones of the edge of the fountain. "But Kylo created it, of course," Matt added.
I chuckled airily. "Are you sure you're the one working for him and not the other way around? Because sometimes you really make me doubt that." I allowed my hand to touch the water of the fountain, it had a nice temperature. "But I do love the design. I have never seen this kind of beauty. It's almost divine." I gaped, impressed.
"You don't often look in the mirror then," Matt claimed genuine.
My heart fluttered as I looked in his eyes, which only confirmed the love he held, even though it wasn't always visible.
I had never been really good at poems, but one simply entered my mind as I said it out loud. "Your eyes tell me that you'll love me everyday. No matter what may come, you'll be here to stay."
I swore that I could see his brown eyes brighten and melt, like heated copper. "Cute..."
I raised an eyebrow. "You think you can do better?" I assumed jokingly.
Matt bridged the space between us, placed me on the ground and took me in his arms. God I loved it when he did that.
I had to look up, and he down, to see each other's faces. As I gazed up, I saw the sky change form, from the clear blue to a star heaven.
Once again, I raised an eyebrow. "How did that happen? Don't tell me that Kylo is hiding in the bushes and watching us with binoculars."
Matt looked up at the sky, clearly he hadn't noticed the change before. Then he chuckled lightly. "I promise Kylo isn't hiding in the bushes or something like that. I don't know how this happened."
I believed him. For he even sounded quite surprised himself.
What Matt did next was against all my expectations, he started to sing. His voice was like an angel's.
"I wonder how I ever made it through a day
How did I settle for a world in shades of gray
When you go in circles all the scenery looks the same
And you don't know how, then I looked into your eyes
And the world stretched out in front of me and I realized

I never lived before your love
I never felt before your touch
I never needed anyone to make me feel alive
But then again, I wasn't really living
I never lived, before your love

I wanted more than just an ordinary life
All of my dreams seemed like castles in the sky
I stand before you and my heart is in your hands
And I don't know how I survived without you kiss
'Cause you've given me a reason to exist
