MOURNING SECRETS

Loki's Back

Man, this never gets old. Also I noticed someone read the last chapter, but missed the one before. I messed up writing, so just make sure you got it, it wouldn't really make sense if you skipped it.
July 9th 2020 (really it is July 8th, but its 11:59, so I'll let it pass. *wink)

-------------Loki POV

The Avengers cried out, I turned into a fly and flew to Pepper, who was sitting on the bed, staring at Percy. I landed and became an ant.

When the Scepter connected with Percy he gasped and froze. I could feel him struggling against his brief encounter with the scepter. Most people would have became my puppet by now.

I was beginning to wonder how much power this demigod had. He scars showed that he could show resistance, but this was thr mental kind, most people couldn't help but feel fear as their worst nightmares come to life in their mind. That fear is what let my scepter in.

"You." Percy said, standing and turning to me.

He glared at me, eyes full of hatred. "How dare you?" His voice lowered dangerously.

"Loki? What have you done?" Thor asked unsure of Percy's furious behavior.

I reformed as Loki, standing inches from Pepper. My warning clear.

"Ask Clint over there, he seems to have more experience, Percy stepped forward and I raised my dagger, twirling it in my hand.

"Tat, tat, tat," I smiled. "We wouldn't want to have any accidents over here," I lowered my voice. "Now would we?"

Percy glared and I felt a power radiate from him, one that I hadn't felt in a very long time. I widened my eyes and teleported behind Percy, leaving a hologram to take my place.

"Loki, you have no battle with Perseus or Miss. Potts. Leave them be."

I wanted to snap at my idiot brother, but I couldn't help but have the clone look at Percy and smile as water slowly rose up behind it.

"But Gaea does." It said.

Percy stepped back, frightened. I stumbled backwards to refrain from being discovered. The Avengers looked over, I used the scepter to not be spotted and they couldn't see me, as long as I didn't move.

"Oh, course Percy, if you came with me, I won't kill the nice girl next to me. Or harm anyone in this room." The clone said.

"You will n-" Steve was cut off by Percy.

"How do I know you will keep your word? Swear on the styx." He ordered.

"I do not bind myself so easily. They could attack while you cooperated or such. I will not swear, but you don't have much of a choice other than to come peacefully." The clone stopped spinning the knife and it inched a little towards Pepper.

"Perc-" Natasha was also cut off from Percy.

"Deal." Percy said.

"No! Per-" My friend by Pepper interrupted.

"Your shield, Perseus." My clone smiled with malice.

Percy hesitated, reluctant to shut down the walls protecting his mind. Mini me inched closer to Pepper who flinched as the metal stood just next to  her neck. Percy's walls fell immediately.

"Loki, don't-" Tony was cut off as Thor yelled in alarm.

I had moved my hands up to Percy's temples and just as we made contact, Thor saw me.

"BROTHER NO!"

I pulled myself into Percy's mind. I was suddenly being bombarded with Percy's memories. I caused Percy's body to stumble and fall. The Avengers rushed forward, but stopped as my scepter appeared in Percy's hand.
