Confuse

"You're in an Island Caleb!"

Parang bumagsak ang langit nang marinig ko ang malalim niyang boses sa likuran.

"Where the fuck am I Joey?" I shouted again just to confirm it.

I faced him with my blood boiling in anger at agad siyang sinuntok. Umilag ito at agad na sinikop ang mga kamay ko. 

"Are you going to kill me too huh? Kaya mo ba ako tinutulungan kasi may masama ka ring balak?" at tinulak siya to distance myself.

Fuck! What did I do to deserve this! I'm just working decently and now everyone wants to end my life including him.

"I said take me back to Manila!" I scream again. Numbers of guards are looking para akong batang nagwawala rito.

Joey advanced at humarap sa mga guwardiya at muling pinasaringan ako ng tingin.

"Let's just go back to the mansion! I'll explain everything to you later" His voice now deeper. It feels like he's a different person right now.

Mas kumulo ang dugo ko sa sinabi niya. I needed to know the truth.

"You fucking tell me what's happening or else!"

"Or else what?" he said back at ngayo'y nanghahamon na ang boses.

A devilish smile appeared on his face. As if challenging me to do so.

"Or else" natigilan ako roon. Tinanaw kong muli ang malawak na dagat only to realize na walang kahit anong bangka o tao sa laot.

"Fuck!" Nasapo ko ang ulo sa galit. I couldn't imagine this will happen.

"I promise you will pay for this! You set me up right? You did this!" now my voice was weaker. I knew it it was his motive.

He just stood there. His hair was now tousled by the strong wind coming from the sea. His dark eyes now slope downwards at muli niyang itong inangat sa akin examining every details of me. He looks way dangerous now kahit hindi matago ang maamo niyang mukha ay hindi ko pa rin makuha ang balak niya ngayon.

Hindi ko maiwasang kaawaan ang sarili ko I look like hell and by his mere presence at sa paninitig ng kanyang mata I know it can devour my soul even so.

He stretches at humarap sa dagat. "Lumalamig na dito, baka magkasakit ka let's go back!"

"I will never go back unless you tell me the truth"

He moves bit closer to me. Tanaw namin pareho ang malawak na karagatan.

"But I will never tell you the truth unless you go back!" he instigated.

"Let's go" and another devilish grin appeared on his face.

"Fuck you! I will never go back" I couldn't help but feel disgusted.

He squinted his sight at me intensely. Para akong inaanod ng malalakas na alon sa kalawakan ng kanyang mata.

"Guard take him! If he insists drag him!"

My eyes widened at his predicament. I didn't even expected that he'll say such.

"What? Gago ka ba?"

Three of the guards forward and as he ordered, the taller one drag me.

"Joey stop them you can't do this to me!" I scream so loud ngunit pagtingin ko'y wala na siya paligid.

"Let go of me you bastard!" at aktong itinulak ang isang guard only to notice another hand gripping my wrist hardly.

"Kapag sinabi kong sasama ka sasama ka! You can never leave this island unless it's within my permission." Joey's voice thundered again at ngayo'y hila hila niya ako sa kagubatang parte.
