Daniel's POV
a few minutes after Rapunzel left we all got into Jacks tesla - since is big enough so we all have room instead of being crammed together.
"so where did they go?" I asked braking the weird silence
"who?" Jonah turned to me
"punz and Tony" I said in a duh tone
"oh, I dont know. she didn't say" he shrugged, I nodded and looked out the window.
9.20 PM - AFTER BEING AT THE STUDIO ALL DAY, THE BOYS HEADED TO THE PARK FOR A LITTLE WALK. WHEN THEY SAW A COUPLE OVER BY A TREE.... HIDING. THE BOYS STARTED TO LAUGH WHEN THEY THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT THEY COULD OF BEEN DOING.. WELL THAT WAS UNTIL DANIEL SAW HIM THROW HER TO THE GROUND AND ATTACK HER...
"guys, stop, stop laughing" I said and held them back by my hands
"what?" Zach said and looked at me confused
"hes hitting her, like full on beating her up, we should do something right?" I asked
"you dont even know that he is hitting her, maybe its just the way he's sitting that's making you think that Daniel. come on" jack grabbed my arm and began walking the other way
"HELP! SOMEONE HELP PLEASE" I heard a girls voice come from behind us, I shot around fast and saw that it was that couple, I began walking towards them, they boys groaned and followed me. I saw he was punching her in the face, like really hard.
"hey, get off her!" I shouted and pulled the boy off the girl, I began punching the boy over and over - just to scare him. I heard the girl start to cry. then I pinned the boy down to the floor by his t-shirt "never, touch, her, again. you got it?" I shouted, not expecting a vocal reply, but he nodded so I got off of him and he freaking ran away. I then got in front of the girl and kneeled down, she whimpered and turned before curling into a ball crying
"Daniel, give her some space man. you can tell she's scared" Corbyn said, I sighed and put my hand on her shoulder making her jump a little
"hey. I'm Daniel, I'm not going to hurt you okay? I just want to help you" I said with a gentle voice - the one I use on punz when she's upset - she was still cowarding away from me before I took my hand off her shoulder "I know your scared. and I cant tell you've been through hell with that dick, but I'm here to help you, Im not going to hurt you"
then she turned to face me, I shot her a smile.
"hey, so whats your name?" I asked her still smiling
"L-Lucy" she whispered
"that's a lovely name" I said. but then she looked up and saw the boys, letting out a small cry as she curled back up. "its okay, its okay, those are my friends" she lifted her head "Corbyn, Jack, Jonah and Zach" I pointed at each of them "they wont hurt you" I looked back at them and saw they all had smiles on their faces. I signed for them to sit down next to me to make her feel more comfortable - and it did, well until she held her hand up to her head.
"are you okay?" I asked
she shook her head "my head hurts" she groaned. I looked at the boys giving them a look making them all nod
"would you like to come to our house?" I asked her
"n-no. I'd just be I-in the way" she stuttered
"don't be stupid, its fine. its not like we do much anyway" I chuckled a bit
"I dont know" she replied slowly
"at least come back until your all fixed up"
"okay"
we all stood up and I put my hand out for her to grab, she got up but instantly fell to the ground.
"here" I said and picked her up, but she instantly started to shake "im not going to hurt you, remember" I said, causing her to nod. I carried her to the car and put her in the back with me.
within minutes we got to the house, once we stopped I got out and picked her up again carrying her into the house, we walked into the living room and I saw rapunzel sat at the like little desk with her feet up on it watching tiktoks. when I placed her down I lightly smiled
"what - ohh Daniel's pulled?" Rapunzel winked at me, making Lucy shake
"hey, shhh dont worry. that Just my best friend Rapunzel - or Lynn, what ever you wanna call her. Ignore her. she talks a lot" I said and shot punz a mean look. she gasped and looked back at her phone "right okay. Jonah, Jack will you guys go get ice for her face and some band aids - and Corbyn get some cloths, oh Zach get some cream" I said, three of them made their way there
"why do you need squirty cream for?" Zach asked giving me a puzzled look, but at least this made Lucy laugh a bit.
"not that kind of cream dip shit. cream for her bruises" I said
"dont worry I got some" Corbyn said as he came back - followed by Jack and Jonah. I then held her hand as they placed the things around us
"we are going to get you all fixed up okay? tell me if anything hurts" I said, she nodded. then I grabbed the ice pack and handed it to her "hold it on your face, its hella swollen" i said - I saw a bit of blood soaking through her shirt "shit, would you mind lifting your top a bit, so I can take a look" I asked, she nodded with a little smile. so I grabbed the bottom of the her top and lifted it, there was quite a big cut there, I looked around and saw a towel so I put it over it cut - applying pressure. once the bleeding went down I took the towel off. I went to get check her legs but she was wearing super tight jeans.. ugh
"right. so I can get a better look im going to need to you take your jeans off. but if you dont want to - that's okay, it's whatever makes you comfortable" I lightly smiled, then I heard Rapunzel snicker behind us
"Daniel you sound like such a perv or something right now" she said
"oh my god shut up punz. I'm just trying to help her" I snapped to her, she looked away with an eye roll. I turned back at Lucy "so what do you wanna do?" I asked
"I'll take t-them off" she whispered, then she got up and took her jeans off real slow, she sat back down and I saw a bunch of bruises and cuts all over her legs, the rest of the boys looked over and she winced
"guys, back away a bit. she's getting scared" I said quietly. they nodded and backed up. I then grabbed some ointment and rubbed it into her legs, she moved around a little because it must of stung but I knew it was, so I didn't think that I was hurting her or anything.
once I was done I let her lay there as I cleaned up, shooing everyone out of the room making her more comfortable, once I cleaned I sat next to her and held her hand
"do you feel better now?" I asked, she nodded "do you want anything. like to drink or eat... we dont have much but.." I chuckled
"can I h-have some water p-please" she asked, I nodded and left the room to get her some water. I came back with a glass of water with a straw - I knew she didn't have enough energy to hold it for too long, so I held it up to her lips letting her take a few sips before I put it down
"thanks" she smiled
"no problem" I replied sitting down again "would you like to stay here tonight?" I asked as Rapunzel walked back into the room sitting at the desk again.
"no. no its o-ok I'll j-just go back to m-my apartment" she said
"do you live with that guy? is her your boyfriend?" I asked
"yeah. both" I said
"okay then im not letting you go back there. you are staying here"
"okay" she shrugged with a smile
"you can take my bed, I'll sleep on the sofa" I said. making rapunzel drop everything, she gave me a death glare
"no. you've done so much for me, I'll sleep here" she told me, making punz let out a breath of happiness
"you need to sleep somewhere comfortable. you are taking my bed"
she gave up and just shook her head, I smiled and put my arm around her, before carrying her up to my room. I put her down and went to my drawers handing her one of my t-shirts
"here, have it to sleep" I said, then left downstairs so she could change. when I got there a really mad Rapunzel was stood there
"where the hell am I going to sleep now then?" she asked
"on the sofa.. with me?" I said
she rolled her eyes and walked passed me.
fuck - have I ruined or friendship with a girl....
