Part 29

AT THE HOTEL
Daniel's POV

I sat on the edge of the hotel bed and watched Rapunzel Pack her bags, she didn't tell me until this morning that she had a flight back to where ever today. I watched her throw another top into the case, I looked at her face as she glaned over to me, I could tell she had tears threatening to fall - I stood up and walked over to her, taking her hands in mine and turning her to face me completely.
"my Love" I whispered, looking into her eyes
she gulped "I'm fine" she lied, nodding her head
"no your not. and I know this is hard, its hard for me too. I'm going to miss you so much"
she let a tear slip and I gently wiped it away
"promise me you wont go off and find another girl and leave me?" she whispered, closing her eyes tight. I chuckled lightly, squeezing her hands tightly
"do you think my stupid? why would I do that? I've waited 2 years to be able to ask you out - I would never throw that away - you mean the world to me"
she opened her eyes slightly and looked into mine. she just simply nodded and wiped her eyes.
"Let's go to bed yeah? It's getting late" I said and picked her up, placing her down on the bed. before I got in with her I went to the case and zipped it up for her.

Rapunzel's POV

I looked at the clock and saw it was 11.38pm
"I don't want to sleep" I said as Daniel climbed into the bed with me
"why sweetheart?" he asked
"Because when we wake up, I have to leave you"
Daniel sighed and pulled me into his chest, he started to play with my hair and left a few little kisses on my head. we stayed like that for about 15 minutes.

"Today has been a tough one ey?" Daniel said
"yeah. " I cuddled into him more before I yawned, sleep creeping up on me after awhile and before I knew it, I was sound asleep in my boyfriends arms.

NEXT MORNING

Daniel and I are now satin the airport, waiting for my flight to be called. he kept looking at me but I couldn't look back, I didn't want to loose it and brake down, right here, right now. Daniel grabbed my hand and rubbed it lightly with his thumb..

"Flight 1527 to Queens, New York is boarding now. Enjoy your flight" a woman said over the intercom. I stood up, pulling Daniel with me - I groaned my suitcase and bag before the two of us walked to the gate. Once we got there Daniel turned me to face him, but I didn't look up - he tried to hug me but I kinda backed away

"Rapunzel, Please give me a hug goodbye" he whispered to me, I could practically hear the hurt in his voice, I sniffled and gave him a quick, small hug. but then when I pulled off him he looked hurt, almost broken. so I finally looked up into his eyes, I saw pain and love
"I Love You" I whispered
"I love you too sweetheart" he shot the smallest smile ever before smashing his lips onto mine
"promise me you will try and phone everyday - or at least text, okay?" I sniffled as I grabbed onto his hoodie tightly
"I promise - now go, before you miss your flight!" he nudged me lightly
I let a tear slip before kissing him one last time and going through the gate. once I got on the plane I let the water works flow for a few minutes. Before taking a pic for the gram 😎

Daniel's POV

I stayed by the window In the air port so I could watch Rapunzel's plane take off before I headed back to my car and sped home, once I got there I headed straight to my room and locked myself in again...
