~ A FEW DAY'S LATER ~
Daniel's POV
I woke up, and looked to my left, I was expecting to see Lucy there but there was no one only a teddy bear.
"Lucy?" I said while sitting up, but there wasn't a answer, I realised the bathroom door was closed so she must be in there "Luce, are you in there?" I knocked on the door
"yeah, just one second!" she shouted
... shit why did she have to be in there... I dont want to do this
"okay. um when your done - can you meet me outside, on the patio" I asked nervously
"uh - yeah, yeah sure"
I nodded to myself and changed out of my sweatpants and into a pair of gym shorts and a t-shirt. I didn't bother to touch my hair, or wash my face - I just wanted to get this over and done with. so I walked quite fast down the stairs and out to the patio, minutes later lucy came out with soaked hair, she sat on one of the seats I sat on the one opposite.
"did you want to talk about something?" she asked clearing her throat
"yeah, yeah I did. umm so you know we havent been too good these past few days... and I uh dont think... this is working out anymore" I scratched the back of my neck
"what!" she stood up fast
"listen Lucy, im so sorry but it isn't like working"
"ugh!! Daniel you are such a douche!!!"
"how am I a douche?"
"cause you are braking up with me because you are starting to have feelings for fucking Rapunzel, like what kind of name is Rapunzel in the first place!!!" she shouted
"im not starting to have feelings, ive always had feeling for her!.. and her name, its beautiful"
"right - that's it, im done with you, I dont know why you started to date me anyway - im going to pack my bags and leave!" she shouted again before storming though the house and into my room. I sat back down and held my head in my hand.
Rapunzel's POV
as I was walking downstairs Lucy walked past me and shoved me into the banister
"what the fuck?" I raised my hands as I carried on walking downstairs
"what are you, what the fucking about?" Corbyn said chuckling
"Lucy just ran past me and literally pushed me against the banister" I said still confused why she did it
"huh.. well I mean, it might have something to do with why Daniel is sat out there with his head in his hands?" Corbyn shrugged, I looked over at the sliding doors and saw Daniel sat on the patio
"I guess I should go check on him. wish me luck" I chuckled and Corbyn patted my back before I headed outside, I sat down next to Daniel and crossed one of my legs over his.
"penny for your thoughts?" I lightly shoved him and held a penny out to him again
"nah, I have no thoughts worth your penny" he chuckled very quietly
"dani, I can tell.. theres no point trying to hide it" I sighed
"alright - but keep your penny" he grabbed the penny, put it on my lap then held my hand. "I broke up with Lucy, she called me a douche then stormed off upstairs to pack her shit. she is leaving" he shrugged
"why did you brake up with her?"
"oh idk, I just - im losing feelings for her you know" he traced his other hand up my arm making little squiggles with his finger
"awe, im sorry - I have an idea! to lighten the mood we should just throw a pool day today, the boys, Tate and meeee" I smiled at him
"oh that's a really good idea" he jumped up "im going to go tell the guys!"
"okay!" I smiled back, then as I walked behind him into the house I grabbed Corbyn and dragged him into the garage
"I have a brilliant - beyond brilliant idea! so today we are going to have a pool day to cheer dani up - he broke up with Lucy. so I was thinking you and I should team up and fill some water balloons and then I should throw them off Zach's balcony onto them - you could film it?" I asked really fast
"yes! an amazing idea! do you have water balloons?" he asked
"a whole tun in Zach's closet" his eyes widened "and no, they aren't condoms you nasty" I smacked his arm
"alright" he chuckled
AN HOUR LATER
"right pool time?" jack asked
"yass! okay, well imma go get changed now then" I shrugged then I got up and threw my dishes in the sink, before I made my way upstairs I yelled down.
"if you guys are done before me - dont wait up!" I said. then once I got to the top I went to a closet and grabbed a bucket. I ran to Zach's room, I quickly changed into my best swim suit and started filling up ballons. after I finished the water balloons, I peak out the window to make sure they were all there, I make quick eye contact with Corbyn and nod. he pulled out his phone as I dragged the bucket closer to the window.
"BOMBS AWAY!!!!!" I started to throw them out the window, one after the other. I made sure at least 2 hit each of them - Corbyn is no exception. watching them run around frantically trying to avoid the balloons was hilarious... but im going to be so dead when I get downstairs.
once I ran out of balloons it was time to go face the music....
