Flirting with the enemy (A Jeverus story)

~•~Chapter 4~•~

 "Alright class, take out your potions book and turn to page 300." Said professor Slughorn, standing up from his desk.

 The whole class groaned as they saw what potion recipe was on page 300, Amortentia. Sirius rolled his eyes, resting his head on his hand, learning about Love potions and stuff like that was torture to him, unless Remus was involved. James on the other hand, he was interested in this potion, more then he was back then. 

 "so today we are going to begin by talking about amortentia before we actually make it, that will be Tomorrows lesson," Professor Slughorn said, "Alright now everyone gather around the back table there."

 Every one sighed, picking up there books, and heading to the back of the class. Of course Sirius and Peter stood at the back, mostly because this seemed rather pointless to them while, Snape, Lucius, and Narcissa were at the front of the room. Lucius and Narcissa obviously flirting, while Snape looked annoyed. As for James, he stood closer to the front then he would originally, just so he could admire Snape a little more.

 "Can anyone tell me what this potion's affects are?" Slughorn asked, scanning the room for someone who knows. Just like a know it all, Snape's hand was the first in the air, "Yes Mr. Snape, you know the answer?"

 Snape put his hand down, clutching his potion book, "Sir, Amortentia is the most powerful love potion in the world, It is distinctive for its mother-of-pearl sheen, and steam rises from the potion in spirals. Amortentia smells different to each person, according to what attracts them." 

 Slughorn nodded, "Right you are Severus, care to give us an example of how it works?"

 Snape's face became slightly pink, but as the good student he is, he obeyed, moving closer to the potion, "W-Well, For instance.. I smell, Broom stick polish, Coconut, and..." Snap paused, hesitating on the last smell, he held his breath, almost as if he were trying to think of another smell that attracts him, he exhaled, "A-And Wet Grass..."

 James narrowed his eyes, Severus hesitated way to long on the last smell, was he trying to change the small on purpose, that way he didn't give off too much about the person who attracted hm. 

 "What's up with you today, you hesitated on the last smell Sev." James heard Lucius say to his friend.

 "W-Well it's not easy when so much pressure is on you!" Severus snapped back, "You will understand tomorrow when we make the potion!"

 The class went on from there, it was pretty boring as we were just talking about how dangerous the potion is when in the wrong hands.

"Class dismissed, Remember we all have double potions tomorrow!" Slughorn called, as everyone rushed out of the classroom.

 "Peter, you coming?" James asked, turning around to see Peter looking down the other end of the hall way.

"Go on without me, I'll catch up with you later!" Peter announced, and made a shooing motion with his hands.

 "If you say so." James called back, turning to catch up to Sirius.

 "I wonder if Remus is okay..." Sirius sighed, brushing his hair out of his face.

 James smirked, "You really do like him don't you?" 

 Sirius blushed, "N-NO IT'S NOT LIKE THAT! YOU HAVE THE WRONG IDEA! JAMES!" Sirius squeaked.

 "HA! You should've seen your face mate!" James laughed.

 "James!-" Sirius sniffed the air, "James?"

 "Yeah?" 

 "Since when have you started to use my coconut Shampoo?" Sirius asked, slightly growling.

 "Just the other day when I washed up after the prank backfired." James scratched his head.

 "How much did you use? The scent is really strong." Sirius asked sniffing the air again.

 "I don't really know, I was to concentrated on the talk me and peter were having..." James recalled the events back in the bathroom, before remembering that, "We kissed..." He muttered again, running his thumb along his bottom lip.

 "James!" Sirius shouted, Shaking James out of his trance.

 "What!" James shouted.

 "You spaced out, and now were gonna be late for Transfiguration, and McGonagall will be furious!" Sirius shouted.

 "Oh Crap you're right!" James replied, and off they ran.

"If you say so." James called back, turning to catch up to Sirius.

 Peter sighed in relief, his friends would not catch on to his secret just yet. (But my readers will XD) Peter headed in the opposite direction than his friends, heading down to the Slytherin common room. Once he made it, he was pleased to see the person he was looking for.

 "Regulas!" Peter cried, running down to hug his Slytherin boyfriend. (I'm sorry, I read about this ship in a book, and I thought it was absolutely adorable! and I began to ship them as well!!"

 "Peter!?" Regulas shouted, "I didn't think you were coming!"

 "Of course I came, just took me a while to get rid of my friends.." Peter said, lifting Regulas's chin, "Now how was Quidditch practice?"

 "Boring as always.." Regulas sighed.

 "Sorry to hear that, do you know when the next game is?" Peter asked, taking hold of Regulas's waist.

 "N-Next week.." Regulas squeaked, blushing scarlet.

 (Just a quick warning, there is a bit of cringy 13+ scenes about to happen, read at your own risk)

 "What's wrong Regulas?" Peter whispered in Regulas's ear, "You've gotten so flustered~"

 "Ngh-, quit it Peter!" Regulas squeaked, as Peter's hands began to move lower.

 "Give me a reason why~" Peter whispered, before nibbling the top of Regulas's ear.

 "B-Because! It's Thursday! We only have and hour of free period right now, it's not the weekend, we can't be so reckless..." Regulas exhaled.

 "So you're saying, you do want to do it with me?~" Peter cooed.

 Regulas grabbed hold of Peter's tie, forcing him down to his level, just so that Regulas could shut him up by kissing him, "You Prat, I never said I wanted to- Ah!"

 "That confirmed it~" 

 "I h-hate you.." Regulas replied, covering his mouth with his hands.

 "That's not what you'll be saying in a minute~"

 Okay so, most of you might be wondering 'whats up with Peter's behavior?' Well let me explain, since it most likely won't be covered in any of the chapters, Peter was set aback by this sudden change in liking that James showed. Peter always believed that Lily and James were the perfect couple, but now seeing James has a crush on Snape, it just kinda triggered him. It's not that he is homophobic or else he would've acted weird around Sirius, and Remus, not to mention he is in a relationship with Regulas... and another thing, the only reason why I have been updating this book a lot more, is because it is my most popular book right now, and that just means a lot to me, and I will practically do anything and everything to keep this book as popular as it is!
