Flirting with the enemy (A Jeverus story)

~•~Chapter 29~•~

James sat across from Severus, his eyes not dating to meet his. What if he really did know what James was up too. Would he hate him for it?
Severus took a deep breath, as he waited for James to meet his eyes, "Look at me." He demanded, and James did as told.
"Yes- Sever-us" His voice cracked.
"I want you full attention with what I'm about to say." Severus said quickly.
"Say what eve-r it is you need to say-" James replied, as he felt more nervous than before.
Severus took a deep breath, before deciding it would be better to say what he needs to say directly, "I... I want a child!"
James's eyes widened, as that was not what he was expecting, "Sev.. I-"
"I know I'm a guy, and I know we can't adopt kids, but I really do want one..." Severus admitted, "So If there was a way, could you please tell me we can have a child.."
James sighed, as he stood up, he patted  Severus's head, staring at him with concern, "Sev... I don't know if having a child is the best right now."
Severus nodded, "I-I understand.. I mean we're still getting used to this new house, and new environment.. I know you need your time."
"Thank you Sev..." He watched Severus climb up the stairs, heading to there room.

That night, James made sure Severus was asleep, before he snuck out of bed. He threw on a quick coat, and climbed out of the window that lied right outside their bedroom door. He climbed onto the roof, slipping slightly.  He made his way over to the edge, climbing down vines that over grew on the house.
James rushed down the two blocks, over to Lilies house, banging loudly on the door.
"J...James?" She asked, her eyes still droopy, "It almost midnight. What are you doing here?"
"I need to talk to you about you know what." He said in a hushed whisper.
"Wha-" She was cut off by James quickly pushing her inside.
"He said he wants one!" James cried.
"Wants what?" Lily asked, yawning after her sentence.
"A baby!" James shouted, "We really need to make it now-"
"Hold on James, when you say it like that, it sounds like we are doing something completely wrong." Lily protested. (Thank you Lily)
"Oh sorry, but can we make the potion now?" James pleaded like a child. (Who all thought this was going to be done through a sperm donner?"
"I suppose, c'mon I still have my cauldron in my Kitchen, and I should have everything to make it."

"Okay now, All I need is a bit of your DNA." Lily spoke, storing the cauldron.
"Ow!"
"This should do!" She exclaimed, as she took a few strands of his hair, "Also are you sure if it's okay if it looks like me? In any way possible?"
"I'm okay with it, your really pretty, and you have a caring personality, I wouldn't mind if our child had traits that resembled you.." James smirked at her.
"You understand that I will have some custody of the child right? I'm not going through 9 months of pregnancy just to give you the child." She stated, giving James a look.
"Of course, but this child will be bottle fed right?" James asked, his cheeks turning slightly pink.
"No duh James." She replied, as a puff of smoke in a whitish grey color rose from the cauldron. The whole kitchen smelt of milk, and lavender.
"Its done! Now all I have to do is drink this, and We should have a child in 9 months!" Lily cried, clinging onto James.

"James... Is there a reason you dragged me here at 8 in the morning on a saturday!" Severus shouted.
"Its a surprise!" James replied, pulling James into Lilies house, where they were greeted by Sirius, and Remus.
"James! I haven't seen you in forever!" Sirius cried, giving his friend a hug.
"Have you also been called here unexpectidly?" Remus asked.
"No, I actually know what's happening." James replied.
"I don't." Severus added sleepily.
Lily walked out from the kitchen,  bubbling with excitement, "James good you're here! Are you ready to share the news!"
"Of course I am Lily darling." James replied, joining Lily at the front of the room.
"Now can you tell us what we are all doing here?" Sirius asked impatiently.
"Well... Lily and I are-"
"I'm pregnant!" Everyone in the room stood up, there expressions angry.
"What the bloody hell mate! You propose to Snivellous and go do stuff like that with a gap behind his back!" Sirius shouted.
"Wait no-"
"That's terrible, I expected more from you Lily." Remus added.
"Pleas listen it's not what you think-"
A smack was heard through out the room. Even the neighbors could hear it. James layed on the ground, rubbing his cheek which was now slightly red.
"I thought I meant sometthing to you..." Severus sniffled, "Then I find out you cheat on me..."
"Severus please listen-"
"No. I should've never given you another chance you mudblood." The whole room gasped, and James stood up.
"You shouldn't treat the person who agreed to carry our child like that." James growled.
"You mean, yours and Lilies." Severus replied coldly.
"No I mean ours." James repeated.
"Me and him made a potion late last night, that would make me able to carry your child..." Lily replied, "Of course it will look like you and James mostly, but since I'm carrying it, some of my DNAmight get mixed in..."
The whole room gasped, and Severus fell to the floor in tears, "I'm so sorry!"
"Shh,  Sev, it's not your fault... your anger got in the way.."  James comforted him.
"I'm sorry mate, my anger got in the way aswell..." Srmurius apologized.
"I too am sorry.." Remus added.

"James I really am Sorry..." Sevus apologized again, "I got angry, and I shouldn't have."
James lifted Severus's chin, planting a quick kiss on his lips, "I love you and only you, and I should've told you sooner, it's not just your fault.."
"I love you.." Sevus sniffled.
"And I love you." James replied, pulling Severus closer.

Sorry this is shit I couldn't help but want to get the next chapter out, but I promise the next one will be better.
