Chapter twenty

~JUNGKOOK POV~

It was Jimin and Yoongi's idea to have some drinks tonight in the bedroom that I share with Taehyung. All seven of us are in here just spending time together because tomorrow is a rather big day. I mean I'm nervous about it because we've been constantly reminded it's like a getting married this whole mating thing. We've been told we can back out if we want to but I don't want to. I want to do this and so do my brothers it's just that it's a big deal.

Everything has happened so fast really, so this mating ceremony is tomorrow.

I know that Y/n is spending the night with Winter and Ed, since they are her closest friends and we haven't seen Y/n much at all today either since she's been with her mom all day going through somethings for tomorrow and all of us have been with the alpha all day too since he wants to make sure we know of the alpha duties because after we're mated to his daughter and he were to chose to step down as alpha the role would be given straight to us. But I'm confident we'll be fine.

I mean there is seven of us so what could go wrong about that?

Tonight just the seven of us are drinking together all while in thoughts of tomorrow but Taehyung was pouting in the corner of the room for some reason with a drink in his hand, not having drunk a lot of it. It's not like we planned on drinking a lot anyway because we don't want to be hung over for the big day we all have tomorrow.

"Tae, whats your with you?" Jimin

We all looked at Taehyung who lifts his head at the mention of his name and sighs.

"How come Ed, gets to see Y/n tonight and we don't?" Taehyung

I laugh at him while sitting on the bed next to Hoseok and Yoongi on each side of me.

"Well maybe because tomorrow we get to spend the whole day with Y/n tomorrow and we plan on taking her to our home away from here afterwards." jin

He spoke walking out the bathroom and taking his own drink off Namjoon had been holding it for him the whole time.

"Oh yeah. I forgot about that." Taehyung

"How could you forget about what's happening tomorrow?" Hoseok

Taehyung takes a sip of his drink and scrunches up his nose in disgust and sets it down on the small bed side table.

"I didn't forget about that. How could I? I meant about showing her where we grew up. I forgot about that." Taehyung

I almost did too to be honest but I think it'll be fun to take her there and show her a part of our lives where we grew up since we have seen where Y/n grew up and we even stuck around to also watch her grow up too. You would think it would be weird but not at all does it feel that way, we kept our distance from her so she could grow up and I guess now our patience really paid off.

"I think we need to talk about tomorrow though. There is something we need to point out and that is the marking tradition that we would have to do." Namjoon

Oh yeah. We'll have to bite her.

"I think so too. I mean I'm confident that I will be fine but it's these three I worry about when it comes down to it." Jin

He points at me, Jimin and Taehyung.

Okay, I'm offended.

"Excuse me but I think I can control myself very well thank you very much!"

I stood up from the bed to look back at him standing across the room with my drink in hand to scowl at him.

"Yeah we'll be fine." Jimin

"We know when you stop so quit your worrying Jin." Taehyung

Jin scoffs and shakes his head to take a step closer to me by the bed since Jimin and Taehyung are on the opposite side of the room from him, meaning me by the bed I was in the centre of the room.

"Oh please Jungkook you're the one that has least control and feed off the blood of fish which is disgusting by the way. Jimin, Taehyung you both get triggered by a little bit of blood especially when you're excited by something and if I'm correct here this marking thing will be done during sex, yes?" Jin

He looks back at Namjoon for confirmation and receives a nod.

"Yeah so that means you three need to keep yourselves in check." Jin

"Jin I'm severely offended right now. I would never want to hurt her." Taehyung

"I never said you would want to. What I'm trying to say is that all of us need to be careful since we don't know what it's like to drink our mates blood but most of all the three of you are the ones that could be unfortunate to hurt her unintentionally." Jin

Oh.

"I'm sure I could keep myself in check," Jimin

"Me too."

I mumble and sit back down in between Hoseok and Yoongi and take a sip of my drink accompanied by a pat on the shoulder of reassurance from Yoongi.

"The fact of the matter is we all have to be careful so I think it would be a good idea that after this all of us go for a quick late night hunt just to be absolutely certain we'll be fine." Namjoon

"That's a good idea actually." Yoongi

I perked up at the mention of a hunt so I was automatically in on the whole idea. You can count me in for that and if it'll help from not hurting Y/n then I'm defiantly in.

"Wait a minute shouldn't we be fine when it comes to marking her. I'm sure our wolf sides wouldn't want us to hurt her like that and keep control right? Like the alpha did say our instincts would tell us what we need to do so?" Hoseok

He has a point. I didn't think of that.

"Hm, maybe but we should probably still go out for a hunt since we can never be too sure." Namjoon

Yoongi all of a sudden jumps up from the bed and puts down his drink next to Taehyungs who hasn't touched it again after the first try.

"What are you doing?" Taehyung

Yoongi turns around and smiles at Taehyung and then walks towards the door.

"Let's just go now. You know the longer we are out and hunting the better we would be anyway and not to mention it's fun." Yoongi

He opens the door and walks out before anyone could answer. I on the other hand didn't waste anytime in running after him. I love to hunt so any opportunity to I'm going to do it and that's now.

The others ran after us and the seven of us ran out the alphas house to go hunt something just anything.

"Who ever finds a deer first gets first dibs on marking Y/n first!" Jimin

I laughed and began to run through the trees with my brothers close by laughing also.

"HA! Better yet a bear!! Its bigger and stronger!"

I shouted out to everyone, enjoying the thrill of the chase already when there is nothing to chase yet.

"You're all so on!!" Namjoon

"First one to get a bear wins and marks Y/n first!!" Hoseok

Oh this is gonna be fun!!
