Vera's POV:

Here we were, back in room B340, 'just like old times' I thought to myself in a sarcastic way. Sitting in a circle I observed everyone's faces, my eyes dwelled upon each of them until they met Colby's sitting across from me, he gave me reassuring smile indicating it's time to start.

"Okay, so I'll start off by asking if there is anything present, and everyone will get a turn until we get a response, got it?" I said watching everyone shake their heads simultaneously.

We each joined hands and I once again looked at Colby, just for a split second, to help me build up enough courage to start the seance.

We were sitting in a circle with a salt pentagram in the center, at each point there was a black candle, lighted obviously.

I took a deep breath before starting, "If there are any spirits that want to contact us please show us a sign, you can try and communicate through a knock or a thud, anything..."

We sat there silent for a few moments, but nothing, I then asked again,"You can use the energy from our phones or cameras to communicate with us if needed, just show us a sign."

Once again silence. I looked at Sam who was sitting next to me to indicate it's his turn. He also took a deep breath before starting.

We waited once again, but nothing, not thud or knock or faint whisper, for once it was completely silent, all you could hear was the waves crashing against the boat.

As each of us got a turn to ask, the silence grew louder and I was getting more annoyed. This thing has been bothering us the whole time we've been here and now that we try to communicate back its just gone!?

Once Claire was finished asking it was my turn again, they all looked at me expecting me to say something, but at this point I was beyond irritated, "I uh, I think I'm going to get some fresh air and clear my head..." I got up and swung the door open and made my way to the elevator.

I had mixed emotions, I was angry but at the same time sad, but on the other hand relieved that nobody got possessed, I had to try and figure out what to do next, I made my way to the main entrance of the boat and got off. The fresh cold ocean air hit my face and a sigh of frustration left my mouth, as I was pacing around infront of the boat and then I heard the door open and saw a familiar face staring at me.

"Hey, are you okay?" Colby asked concerned

I looked at him, but turned away again, "I... I just don't get it," I faced the boat again, "We're here, okay trying to communicate, but you give us nothing!" I yelled at the boat while waving my arms in the air, he must think I'm crazy.

To my surprise, he walked up to me and placed both his hands on my shoulders, "Look, these things take time, we still have other options, like the rodds and the detector thing, we'll get something okay, I promise you."

I looked into his ocean blue eyes and somehow he had convinced me, he took his hands and slowly moved them up to my face, his hands cupped my cheeks which sent shivers down my spine. I never took my eyes off his but slowly my hands made their way up his body, he bit his lip before moving closer and that's when he kissed me, I could feels his soft lips against mine and I didn't want it to stop. A kiss so passionate, so pure...

After a while he slowly pulled away and looked me in the eyes, "Don't give up yet V..." He said softly and I couldn't help but smile, he took my hand in his and started walking towards the ship, I pulled him back and kissed him again. This time we couldn't keep our hands off each other, I pulled back mid kiss,

"What was that for?" He asked smiling

"To say thank you," I smiled back and kissed him again

"And that?"

"For courage," I said, I then took his hand and led him back onto the boat, "Let's do this."
