This is a cover of Heather by Conan Gray and no it's not me, the video on the media belongs to the girl who's singing the cover and the song rights go to Conan Gray. It's in Mj's POV, it's kinda sad but I was like "Hey, Mj might actually think this......" so it's basically saying how she wishes she was Gwen. This takes place during Spider-Man Homecoming. I hope you like it! Btw Mj's singing but it's in her head, so nobody actually hears her and thinks she's weird 😅.

Mj's POV

Another day of my depressing life, then I see him....Peter Parker. The boy I fell for..... but he had eyes for another girl.....

🎶 I still remember, the third of December.🎶

I look towards Peter.....

🎶 Me in your sweater...you said it looked better on me then it did you, only if you knew how much I liked you.🎶

He looked at me and smiled, I smiled slightly back and turned away. He turns when he saw Gwen and I turned too.

🎶 But I watched your eyes, as she walks by. What a sight for sore eyes. Brighter then the blue skies. She's got you mesmerized, while I die....🎶

I get up and walk away, a small barely noticeable tear falls down my cheek. I turn back and look at Peter and Gwen smiling and laughing with each other. I quickly walk out, unnoticed or so I thought.......

🎶 Why would you ever kiss me? I'm not even half as pretty, you gave her your sweater it's just polyester, but you like her better. Wish I was her.....🎶

I make my way to the front doors and sit on a bench under a willow tree. I begin sketching, small dollops of tears fall until the page.

🎶 Watch as she stands, with her holding your hand. Put your arm 'round her shoulder. Now I'm getting colder but how could I hate her, She's such an angel but then again, kinda wish she were dead,-🎶

I look up when I see them start to walk out.

🎶 - as she walks by, what a sight for sore eyes. Brighter then the blue sky, shes got you mesmerized. While I die.🎶

I see him look my way and wave, I just get up and start slowly walking away.

I see him say something to Gwen then make his way to me.

He grabbed my arm and said-

"Hey Mj, you alright?" I can see the worry in his eyes, I could tell him but I just can't.

"Yeah I'm just fine, go back to Gwen, she's waiting for you." I tilt my head towards where Gwen is and walk away, tears now flowing down my cheeks as I see him and her walk away happily.

And that's the end! I hope you liked it! It was my first time writing like a song type one shot so I hope it was good! I know there wasn't a lot of interaction and I "rewrote" it by putting her instead of Heather but why would I call Gwen heather so...... yeah but I thought it would be a nice change.
