"Let's also welcome our newest and the youngest employee here—Miss Devyn Domini. Cheers!"

"C-Cheers.. Thanks.." I toast up my plastic cup filled with fruity flavored ladies drink pero nakakalasing pa rin. Sir Echo held threw his birthday party in his own penthouse, na nasa pinakatuktok ng 3oth floor na building where I started my first day as his secretary.

Sakto sa first day ko ang birthday ng amo ko and so far, halos lahat ng mga bagong ka-workmate ko were seemed very friendly sa'kin. They all greeted and welcomed me with their warm smiles.. Hindi ko pa kabisado lahat ng mga pangalan nilang lahat.

"Before, I forgot to—nag-empake na ba lahat?" Nagkatinganan silang lahat with much astonishment and excitement. Uhm, why? Sir Echo was very elated nang itanong niya sa lahat yun.

"Sir? Sa'n tayo pupunta?"

"We'll going to an island trip tomorrow—birthday tour ko sa inyo for bringing RZ Corporation to the top ten list of having good reputation and increasing sales for the past months—good job everyone!" Aw.. Really? I mean, he was so kind of his employees. The way he treated them were just friends and that was my first good impression to my new boss—lucky me, huh? Not to mention his good-looking physique too. Siguro, marami din tong babae..

"Thanks, sir Echo! You're the best!" Ani ng lahat. Everybody turned out to be so ecstatic. Well, my first day turned out to be so well. Mostly kanina mga may ipina-type lang naman siya sa'kin din print—not as strenuous as I anticipated. Kasi Malaki-laking kompanya din ang RZ corporation.

Around eleven, nagsi-uwian kaming lahat.

"Miss Devyn, are you sure you can still drive? Baka nalasing ka, huh?" Medyo nagulat ako sa nagsalita sa likuran ko. I was about to open my car. It was sir Echo. It happened na magkatabi ang sasakyan naming dal'wa sa parking lot.

Nahihiya akong umiling. Tipsy, might be. Pero hindi naman lasing. "I can manage, sir Echo. Thanks.." I assured my boss before he nodded and got inside his own car. Ganun na rin ako. Sir Echo already organized the tour—ang kelangan lang dalhin ay mga personal na gamit. Iisang sasakyan din lang ang sasakyan ng lahat.

Lahat sa loob ng bus were so excited—nagtatawanan at nagkakantahan pa in harmony. Naalala ko tuloy ang mga high school field trips namin nun—sasali na sana ako when somebody shouted..

"Isla Cuatros! We are coming.. Whoohh!" Like what!? Dun kami pupunta? That missed me last night—hindi ko naitanong man lang kung saang isla gusto mag island trip ni sir Echo!

Napabuga nalang ako ng hangin sabay tingin sa labas ng bintana habang umaandar ang bus.

Tsk. A lot of memories happened there.

And specially, dun kami nagkabanggaan ni Lorenzo! That reminded me again that he was indeed real and not just a figment of my crazy stupid brain!

"Hey, not enjoying the island?" Umiling ako bigla dahil sa tanong na yun ni sir Echo. Habang ang lahat kasi ngayon ay enjoy na enjoy sa dagat while the sun was almost setting down and kissed the horizon—heto ako't simpleng tinanaw lang silang lahat.

"Ay, hindi po sir. It's just..I can't swim like the rest. Hindi ako marunong." I almost drowned myself because of that shell! I didn't want to take risk anymore—tama siya sa sinabi niya noon. "I did try, sir Echo—but I ended almost drowned myself. Mabuti nalang.." Napalunok ako thinking how Lorenzo saved me that day. Tanaw ko ang dagat when I recalled that shameful day—how he felt mad and scolded after—pero ba't parang si Lorenzo ang papaahon ngayon mula sa dagat..?

Slowly, he walked with much composure and confidence—wearing his very same dark and bold persona habang naka-trunks lang.. S-Siya ba yan? Kinurap ko ilang beses ang mga mata ko to made sure I was not hallucinating!

Siya nga! N-nandito ulit siya!?

"Mabuti nalang..?" A, muntikan ko ng nakalimutan na nasa tabi ko lang si sir Echo at naghihintay ng kompletong tugon ko ngayon. Pero papalapit sa'min si Lorenzo—sobrang sama ng tingin niya sa'kin ngayon..

Hah! Tumayo ako mula sa bench chair—naka two-piece na ako.

"A, mabuti nalang nag-aral ako ng swimming sir Echo—ligo na po ako!" Saka ko mabilis na tinakbo ang dalampasigan at nagpunta sa mga kasamahan ko. Err, alam ko na ang gagawin ni Lorenzo, he'd dragged me out again—alam na alam ko ang 'the moves' ng gagong yun!

But when I peaked back to his corner—mali ako.

May kasama na itong babae na matangkad—sobrang model-like ng katawan—at maganda, oo. The woman clung to his arm sabay lakad palayo na magkasabay..

Stupido!

You really thought he'd chased you again after tossing you out, huh?

"Miss Devyn, sa'yo tong isang can ng beer, oh.." Well, kinuha ko kaagad when Laura offered it to me—just what I needed.

"May isa ka pa dyan, Laura—no, I need three cans of beer." Ang bigat sa dibdib, Lorenzo.. Napaka-walang-hiya mo, gago ka!

"Akala mo hindi ako marunong mag-move on?" Hindi ko napigilang hindi sambitin at marinig ni Laura ngayon pati na rin ng ibang katabi ko lang. Halos lahat sila nahinto sa pagtatampisaw. "Nakalimutan ko nga 'agad si Gio e, na ilang taon kaming nagkasama—ikaw pa kaya na halos walang isang buwan—letche ka!?" I yelled out with all my heart na sana marinig niya! Everybody supported me while smashing the sea water..

"Burn him, Devyn! That's right, girl! Support kami sa'yo! Cheers to moving on..!" Hah! Inubos ko ang lahat ng laman ng beer at saka humingi pa ng isang can kay Laura—nagngingitngit ang puso ko ngayon, Lorenzo! I curse you!

He only likes woman to f**k! Yun lang!

"Akala siguro nila dahil virgin pa ako, hindi ako marunong makipag-sex!? Palagi nalang akong pinagpalit sa iba!" Well, nalasing 'agad ako sa dal'wang can ng beer—no tipsy.. Yeah, tipsy, that's the word! Feeling ko, ang sarap-sarap isagaw lahat ng nasa dibdib ko ngayon—regardless kung sinong nakakarinig sa'kin. Umahon ako sa dagat ang hinarap silang lahat sabay taas sa canned beer ko. It was already dark and everybody was all ears on me.

Sobrang tahimik ko kasi sa first day ko kahapon.

"Well, those maggots are definitely wrong! I deserve a man tonight! Cheers!" And another canned of beer just filled in my aching heart. Alam ko na, dahil wala akong alam sa mga bagay na yun—kaya basta nalang niya akong iniwan sa ere. He wanted his woman to be wild in bed!

He really thought I couldn't do that!?
