When you witnessed your father's head roll off his shoulders, you vowed to destroy the Lannister's from the inside out. Your resolve only strengthened by holding your crying sister each night and worrying about the safety Arya. When news of Cersei's and Jamie's relationship spread in court, you knew exactly where to start.
You couldn't kill them yourself without endangering your own life or the life of your sister. So you settled on putting a dagger in their hands and nudging them to start attacking one another. Brother against sister. Father against son. It almost scared you with how easy it came to you. Manipulating others. Especially Jamie. With perfectly timed and placed touches. The right words whispered into his ear. You had him wrapped around your finger and broke apart the disgusting love he shared with his twin.
A knock rapped at your door and you opened it knowing exactly who was behind it. Jamie swooped in, kissing you with such passion and ferocity that it made you forget your mission for a second. You responded with just as much energy. Only breaking the kiss to pull off his shirt, leading him to your bed.
Skin against skin. Nails clawing down his back. Sweet moans sighed into the night. It was a dangerous game you were playing as you were playing with the wrath of Cersei Lannister. But you were willing to do anything for the sake of revenge and so remained tangled in Jamie's arms, moving in sync with one another.
When you awoke in the morning, you did not expect to see Cersei herself at the end of your bed with a dozen guards. Face set in angered disgust as she watched you pull your blanket tightly to your body. Covering your nakedness. Jamie awoke to your panic and sat up when he too saw Cersei.
"Having fun with a Stark whore?" She bit out. Words dripping with venom. "Guards! Take her to the darkest and coldest cell in the palace."
They all moved to grab you. Stopping only when Jamie threw himself in front of you yelling, "and what has she done to deserve this?"
"She's a snake poisoning our family. She planted the seed of thought that made Tyrion send off our child to Dorne. Broke us apart. Set off public doubt about Joffrey's rule. Can't you see that she's trying to destroy the Lannister's from the inside." It was scary how close to the truth she was. Making you second guess your skills as a manipulator. You looked to Jamie, shocked to see pure defiance in his posture. Not believing a word Cersei was saying.
He said in a low angered voice, "you take her just because you're paranoid, I'll never forgive you. No one is to harm a single hair on her head or I will show you all just how easy it is to kill for a Kingslayer."
"Do not let her ruin you too!"
"Enought Cersei! I will not allow you to harm (y/n)."
You almost got caught up in the lie. Feeling a warmth spread inside as you watched Jamie with soft eyes. But you shook it away.
Knowing that there was no way of swaying her brother, Cersei left with her guards and Jamie looked you other with worry twisting his handsome features. "Are you okay? Nothing hurts?"
"I'm fine." You pushed his hands away, only to be pulled into a tight embrace without any warning. At the beginning of your manipulation, you tried avoiding any unnecessary touching. And yet there you were. Snuggling your face into the crook of his neck and inhaling his scent. Enjoying being so close to him. You should be quietly celebrating your victory. Not imagining a future with him.
You pulled back, pecking his lips sweetly. Yes it was a dangerous game you were playing. Because without realising it, you put your heart on the line.
