Hoshino woke up to the continuous sounds of her phone notification tone. Lazily, she rolled over her bed, setting aside a few pillows. With her eyes still shut, she extended her arm to reach her phone, which she guessed was on top of her bedside table.

BOKUTO_Kotaro: nanao!! are you awake?

BOKUTO_Kotaro: rise and shine nanao!!

BOKUTO_Kotaro: the camp ends tomorrow, I wanna see you already :(

BOKUTO_Kotaro: nanao wakey wakey I miss you :(

BOKUTO_Kotaro: also, my friends still wont believe that I have a girlfriend

BOKUTO_Kotaro: which is youuu ❤

Nanao06: Good morning Kotaro :) I just woke up, sorry

BOKUTO_Kotaro: omg you're awake now ❤ good morning ❤❤❤

Nanao06: How's the camp? :)

BOKUTO_Kotaro: We just finished warm ups and drills. We'll play practice matches again soon

Nanao06: You'll do great today, I'm sure you will ☺

BOKUTO_Kotaro: Nanao :((

Nanao06: Yes, Kotaro?

BOKUTO_Kotaro: I miss you more now :((

Nanao06: I miss you too Kotaro :))

BOKUTO_Kotaro: When can I see you :(

"Today," she mumbled as she texted something else. Today was supposed to be a surprise and she wanted to see Bokuto's reaction. So for now, she had to lie.

BOKUTO_Kotaro: I want to take a train to Fukuoka now :(

Nanao06: Taking a train takes around 5 hours Kotaro :(

BOKUTO_Kotaro: Then a plane!! I'll fly to you, Nanao :(

"Nee-chan?" Nanao heard her brother's voice outside the door, making her pause from messaging.

"Yes, Nanaki?"

"Lunch is ready!"

"Wait, what time is it?!" she exclaimed then looked at the clock. 11:45AM

"Oh no," she mumbled and quickly got out of bed.

"Tell Ueda-san I'll pass!" she exclaimed again.

"What?"

"Tell her I'm sorry too!" she added and rushed to her closet to get her towel. She needed to take a bath as soon as possible. She was running late.

"Are you sure? She says," Nanaki said, still behind the door.

"Yes! I'm sure! And tell Yuki-san to prepare the car!"

"Wait, what?!"

"Please!" she pleaded before entering the bathroom.

"Fine," Nanaki sighed and got down to do as he was told.

Meanwhile, Bokuto was on his best form today, all thanks to his short talk with Hoshino. From the beginning of their practice matches until their last set, his spikes were all on point, rarely getting blocked by anyone.

"Hey, hey, hey!" he exclaimed after scoring their last point, beaming with joy.

"Diving drills!" Daichi instructed to his team.

"Okay!" the rest of Karasuno followed.

"Man, don't they ever get tired of those?" Konoha mumbled. He had a point, it was probably Karasuno's fourth diving drills for the day.
